ok i am thinking of going Super Pure Mage at lvl 90 which means nothing on vit at all and being a vit mage since i started playing i have no experience and don't know if its any good right now i have 100 attributes on vit and it's great because aoes don't hit me that hard. Well anyways my main concern is that i will get one shotted by 6x 7x 8x 9x and 10x xD lol since i will only have about 2k HP buffed unless i have a charm which i can't afford all the time xD so if u have any comments please post and help me out because i don't wanna make a mistake i will regret xD the only thing i know is that i will hit super hard xD which is one of the reasons why i wanna go ahead and do it but the downside is i don't wanna be 1 shotted by aoes pvp and in frost runs byt the mobs xD

PS: post what amount of vit u think is good enough to last on aoes and pvp and still hit hard b:bye

and i'm going sage so i don't know if pure is good for it ty

if you don't feel safe, you dont have to take all the vit out at once.
leave enough vit to survive some hit bro, i mean 2k hp (BUFFED???) at 90 is really bad man, the tt90 set should give u plenty HP, and flawless are so cheap, 3k+ hp is really doable. good luck

keep your vit until 95 and work to get the event gear (boots+hat +cape).
Shard and refine them, same with weapon and other pieces of 90+gear (tt90 gold sleeves + TT90 green pants can be easily endgame at 4 socks and +5 refines) When u hit 95 and u can dress up that event gear, do the math how much HP you will lose and how much you need to be comfortable with.
Some ppl love more vit to survive, other are just fine with dying if they have the maximum possible dmg output. But I would say keep that 100 vit for now, until u have your endgame gear.

PS: don't worry about lvl-up, with the hyper XP FC runs and endless BHs you will get to 95 in a blink of an eye. Late 80s are a bish, but once in the 90s the first 3-4 levels will pass by incredibly fast (300k XP from WQ, 450k from cube <<+100k if u hit 49>> ... and so on. )

pure magic builds are worthless if you dont have the gear to back it up

if you have less than 4k hp at 90 you're utterly useless in pvp

At 99, I did something really crazy. I restatted to pure mage. Now one would ask why this was crazy.

Well, my hp was 4.3 hp unbuffed after that (it was 5k pre-restat), and it made it almost impossible to live in a Delta because of my high damage output (unless I switched to a lower level weapon or went weaponless). I've worn my tt99 weapon once through a delta. Yes, it's that serious.

So why did I do it? I'm a damage whoor. Since then, I've gained back my hp (and then some--yay hp mods), and I didn't even have to go back to vit-mag.

The point of this otherwise utterly pointless story is that it's not impossible to get more than 2k hp (wtf, my psychic at 73 has more than that and she's pure mag). I'm not a heavy cash shopper (so no event gear here), and I was able to refine most of my gear +5; the only thing that is under +4 is my sky demon's pearl. A pure magic build is really nice, as long as you can get the funds to maintain it.

Very true. Pure mag builds are worth it but it won't get you far if you don't have adequate armor. It's not impossible to not cashshop at all and still get good armor - I've spent a total of $5 on the game, but I've been able to 4-sock everything and fill em with flaw/imac cits (3567 hp atm at 84). But if I had like 2k hp, life would be rather difficult...

i dont have ideea have wizz under 2,8k hp at 90 b:surrender
since with 2sock eq lower ss and +2refine u get few hp and i dont got problem in delta only at last stage (sometimes i stop the zhen and i use ms)

mainly i liked in tw and in 1vs1 sucks the low hp but in tw i can hide and nuke XD

According to ecatomb char simulator, a +4/+5 refine in your equipment set plus some LV7-9 garnets grant u approx 4k HP and 6k unbuffed p.def (meaning if those refs are in phys orns) If picking Demon and if u have that holy luck to obtain Demon Stone barrier, thats about almost 15k p.def ONLY self buffed. Had a higher LV Wiz on PW MY-EN, so i can tell its plausible.

Personally I lack of HP (2.6k atm), but gonna compensate it on LV90, when i start to get my final set^^

To put it simple: being pure pays off on the long run, so patienceb:bye

I've been pretty much a 3Vit build all the time as a wizard, from 78-85 I was 53 Vit for RB but other than that its been 3 Vit.

I haven't perfected my EQ yet, but I'm on 3.2k hp atm unbuffed and I'm still to refine/socket my EQ more

It's not just about HP. Your survivability also depend on p.def. My HP is 4830 now unbuffed.(~6340 with sage barb buff) I didn't fill up my event gear with shard yet.(boot, helm) I'm saving money for citrine shards. But without real money it's impossible. And my p.def. Is 8250 buffed. Also I have 25 points in vit+ some vit from armor.
My advice is take at least 50 points from vitality and put it to mag.
But the biggest HP comes from refining G.14 gear boots and helm. Refining these items you will get MUCH more HP that refining G.12 or G.11. pwcalc is wrong there. It shows less HP gained that is in real. And difference is quite big.

You're an idiot if you think you can reach 15k pdef self buffed with +4/5 refines and some g7-8 shards.

    EDIT: lol I tried.

You will never ever reach 15k pdef self-buffed with that kind of gear.
Maybe with all +12 adorns and g11 p-stones or something, but not even sure about that...

    To the full-magic build:
I tried around with that at 90-ish myself, and I have to say that you should definitely see that your HP stays decent all the time.
As you are getting your 90 gear and starting to refine it, try to always stay over 4k hp, thats was about my experience.

Everything under 4k hp makes you too easy a kill, pdef or no..

And imo it doesnt hurt to leave a few points vit on your char as long as you cant afford to +++ your gear to that point.

Just take it easy and take some vit out when you can afford it..

~50 vit is a good place to be without good gear.
Later on you can get good HP without it though, I has 5.7k unbuffed
