Nirvana Petition: Save Our Refines

I understand the desire to keep Chienkun stones out of PWI, as it potentionally reduces the cost of refining to less that half of that compared to using Dragon Orbs, but being asked to re-refine our Lunar Glade and HH99 gear, which many people have refined very highly by now, is a lot to ask from a player base which is becoming disillusioned with having the cash shop imposed upon them more and more heavily each week. Whether the player actually charged the gold themselves or not, a +12 weapon is still 2,000+ gold being consumed on a single item, which is already a significant contribution to this game, yet are we really being expected to make this contribution again after initially being led to believe that we wouldn't?

So I'm asking people from every server to post and petition so that whoever is in a position to make this decision can know that this is simply far too much to ask of the player base and a feature (or lack thereof) which was never originally intended by the game developers and to please implement or alter the process in a way more favorable to the customers and players who support them.

Even though this subject is near-perfect troll-bait...I totally agree. I probably won't be Level 100 for a good, long while...but I can totally feel for all those that are (especially Wizzeled, even though I kinda laugh at him).

Go for it, it is really hard to actually upgrade the gear, and on top of that, since the level cap is being raised, it would be horrible for all the players with upgraded gear to actually go on and re-refine everything

That's completely different. You've never been able to retain those refines on any server, and it was never intended that you be able to. The point is that the devlopers intended refines to transfer from the original gear to the recasted gear through use of Chienkun stones, but since the powers that be in this version refuse to release these stones for other reasons, we also can't upgrade Nirvana gear in the manner intended, either.

This Thread Is kind of the same thread I was thinking Yeah though i have no high lvl char yet in any tt gear. I started to see this happening thats why i started the other thread about stones here.

Doesn't make sense to me either.

They did build it into the game and they hold it to spawn more D orbs ie more money but they would find that the could make maybe an equal amount of money if they did the item as a Non Conversion item IE unable to trade discard or sell in Auction. Allow to self use only preventing people that don't buy item to not have this ablity then it could only be used by paying clients .... but then again this would make this would change the weight of refinement because someone that hasn't paid for this option would have a disadvantage but then again that has kind of been the case all along, if you pay money you get better stuff.

I have maintained that i do not like the idea of the stones...HOWEVER:


** Something needs to be done about the Nirvana....just makes no sense....whats the point if you are going to lose all of your refines, etc...



I will *sign* the Petition for something to be done about the Nirvana upgrades....as to what that "something" is I am not sure...

Indeed the loss of refines/sockets is completely rediculous in this case. The instance os already only available for 100+ and if the chance of getting uncanny crystals isnt heard enough, raptures are like impossible to come by. Now go farm 250, then make your gear worse than it currently is, then go buy more dragon orbs, buy more socket stones, farm new gems.....come on now, isnt this process a little un called for? You either make nirvana hard to farm and allow refines and sockets to transfer, or you make farming nirvana simple, but dont allow refine/sockets to transfer, NOT BOTH. please fix the system as its making teh lvl 100+ (for the most part most loyal consumer base) pissed off at all the time and money they have wasted.
