So is that being thrown to the wayside tonight? I saw the question asked in the main expansion thread, but I never saw an official answer. Is the event still going to be held or no?

    Based on the maintenance times they gave, you can pay your 100k, show up, and then have server shutdown as soon as the bosses spawn. b:laugh

    That's what I'm afraid of. I won't whine about changing the shutdown time at the last minute (even while getting people to help can take a week or more in advance to plan), but I'm not trying to waste mine or my friend's time. I guess what I want to know is, will the event happen at all this week, or is it just sad day for us who need various things from it?

    What happened to the two replies that were here? The post hasn't been moved or locked, and as far as I know there were no TOS violations. Is this the Powers That Be way of telling me not to ask questions? Even if the other guy removed his reply I did not remove mine. Where is it, and what gives?

    Thank you Devoted, I appreciate you answering. I guess the fool in me hoped against hope that they would have been considerate of the people who use this once a week event and reschedule it (just as they rescheduled the shutdown for tonight because of last minute bugs), but I suppose that is exactly why I am a fool. But ok. I'm done.

    Unfortunately we can't reschedule the maintenance, as it requires coordination in multiple locations and this was the ideal time for everyone. We hope that users are aware of our maintenance as we try to hold it on the same night every week, but I will put a notice on XFire and we'll try to give a 15 minute warning before servers go down. I can't promise the notice, as things get very hectic here during maintenance.

    Today is Tuesday so no City of Abominations. That event takes place Wednesday at 9:00PM server time.
