So, with the expansion comes new battle pets.

Which venos with $200 battle pets are cutting their wrists?

    uh... who said they were adding more cash shop pets? you should post proof/sources before making claims lol.

    Please tell me you're joking. The economy in this game is already royally screwed. Another legendary pet would just inflate gold prices even more for no reason, herc and nix are more than enough in my opinion.

    If this is true then I might reconsider coming back to this game.

    Battle Pet.

    Hercs and Nixs are Battle pets. They come from a Battle pet Pack.

    You linked to the PREVIOUS expansion. The said battle pets are herc and nix.

    You got this from the Lost Empire expansion, which was loooong ago, probably about the time when nix and herc came out.

    I just heard a rumor about new battle pets and i assumed that this was it.

    Err, I too heard rumors about some giant **** turtle, but who knows. Only time will tell.

    Yep, I wont believe it until a GM posts some stuff or I meet a turtle pet myself. I wouldnt be surprised if that boss is just an enlarged model of the pet turtle (if it actually exists) though. Cause I remember seeing screenshots of an all-class turtle too, maybe that is one of the new all-class pets in the new packs, Im not sure.

    Apparently, theres a new battle pet in China's verison of PW. I can't confirm it though, as i only heard of it through a friend.

    The turtle rumor has been debunked. Battle pets will come along I'm sure as there is an Eldergoth Archer as well as a water pet in the database that aren't available yet. I tried to go get one of the water pets but it was beyond the limitations of the current map.
    Be kind: Help the GMs to depopulate the servers.

    The stat charts leave ample room for new pets to be added. About the only area that's currently maxed out is attack since a nix hits rather fast, and as hard as any pet possibly can.

    Getting archers in the expansion would be nice, but I'm starting to think they won't be all that powerful. Given what we've found of the mobs tame level being responsible for it's range attack distance, an archer will end up attacking pretty close to the target, and that negates some of the potential value unless it manages to land right in that area that's far enough away from mob melee, but close enough to use range attacks.

    Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.

    Hoping for some new pets, just for variety.

    It seems unlikely that any will become 'must have best ever' pets though.

    They released the baby turtle in PWI? Would it be safe to assume the dragon and phoenix were released too? I thought they'd never release those in this version.

    Yup - the current pack sales include the mini-dragon and the frost-nix (which is very very very very very shiny)
