Ranged Pet

So I've been really interested in trying out a ranged pet but lately my playing time is just enough for bh/wq and maybe a few minutes of chatting. I would rather find one near my level then spend the time leveling an eldergotj marksman. Is there any other ranged pet closer to my level?

    As far as I know, and according to the list at http://snowbloom.110mb.com/pi.htm, there's nothing higher level than the level 46 Eldergoth Warrior. Best you can really do is go bash some mice in the cube, I suppose...

    There is a level 89 cactus you can tame.

    That'll be the sharpshooter, I think. Iirc, the warrior is melee only.
