can the wedding packs be put in as a quest reward somehow?

one of the things that drew me to the game was the ability to be married in game, albeit i don't think $60 cash is worth it for a measely title and i do prefer to have some reason to work for something in game instead of flop down cash for whatever i want, but that is my personal opinion and something not all will share.

when i started gold was around 200k, now it's ~500k, we all know why that is but i'm not trying to start another thread about that but more just trying to get some things we play for the ability to be earned by questing, killing and earning in game.

in other words, at level 50 it will take me approximately 4 months to earn the 120 million to trade for gold to pay for 2 wedding packs. to me this seems absurd but at least it isn't a huge ordeal if you are level 80+ and earn coin at a much quicker rate.

of course i can just ignore it and we can just go on playing as we have been but this is something i did want to do in this game.

i don't even really care if it is something long and drawn out, i figure there is a reason why they are the most expensive items on the boutique but it would be nice to have an alternative since most every other item can be obtained through packs or as a reward somehow.

any comments are welcome.

besides barbs and clerics be some of the most wanted classes in PWI.

so me suggest you reach 75+ then do rebirth gamma all day long and you should have enough $$ within a month or so.

Not a horrible idea, but I strongly doubt they would even consider it.

And unless my math is wrong, at 500k per gold it would be 30 million for the 60 gold needed, not 120 million.

well then there goes 120 dollars PWE would be loosing for every person that gets married in game. Yeah sure you yourself may not be putting that money into the game, but someone is doing so in order for you to trade your in game coin for the ability to get married. But, even at gold prices of 200k, a wedding that costs 24 million is a tad bit outrageous.b:shocked

I think if the wedding packs cost was reduced in half, more people would be inclined to get married in game. more pleased players, more income for PWE.

Its 30gold per pack. You need 2 packs. Therefore, its 60 gold total
    60 gold x 200,00 per gold = 12million.
Split between 2 people = 6 million each.
I was early taught to work as well as play,
    My life has been one long, happy holiday;
Full of work and full of play-
I dropped the worry on the way-
And God was good to me everyday.

I like the idea, but it would never be implemented.

When you're making suggestions for this game you need to take into account how it will effect pwi's profits.

They would never implement anything that would save people from the cash shop.

ahh... well I've never actually looked at them, so I was assuming 60 gold per pack.

my math was wrong, it is about 30 million for both at 500k per gold piece. i wish it was at 200k still, it would be a bit more feasably less annoying(since the most i have had currently at one time is 1.8mill) but it's still a bit annoying saying that someone has to be at the level cap to earn money at a rate decent enough to buy the wedding packs.

ah well, i suppose there is enough people interested still or they would have reconsidered the pricing of them already.

barbarians are not the best at making money, roll one and you will find out. the class has some issues with repairing armor, i still don't understand why we eat armor naturally while all other ranged classes have next to no repairs.

30 million is still quite alot considering you do have to upgrade gear in order to level in order to earn money faster to which point does it ever end so that you feel it is worth it just to farm money and stop worrying about levelling? hard to say since we're also not in a large guild either, in fact it's just us. ;)
