    I'm not saying this is the case for you Lar but...why do guys choose girl characters if they come in male options too...like clerics or mages (esp mages). venos i can sorta understand...but can't guys pick MALE versions of their class? (untamed excluded...cuz a female barb would be weird and idk what to think on a male veno :-/)

    Well, I can't answer for other guys, but I did it for a change of pace. Every other MMO I've played, I chose a male char. Even for this one, I was going to have a male. But I made him when I was dead tired, and didn't hit that "finish" button. So the next day, I got to the create character screen, saw the female option and said "Why not?"

    I guess maybe. I don't really mind all that much. Sure I get some weirdos that apparently think I look like my char for some reason. But I usually either play along and have a good laugh at their expense (I used to do this more often), or tell them I'm a guy and laugh at their responses (I'm starting to do this more often).

    I create female alts cause they can be carried around on better mounts and taken up up in the sky way before lvl 30. But that's just me.
