Flying Question

At what point, without adding any points into MAG, does my mana recovery become equal or greater than the mana drain from my wings? It does increase naturally with level, right? I'd like to be able to fly back and forth to where I need to go without having to worry about floating through the air like a rock.

    IIRC, the wings you get at level 30 don't require MP to use at all. So you won't have to worry about it after 30.

    Don't add points to magic, for any reason.

    You can acquire a cape or a hat with MP recovery, so that you can use your white wings.

    At level 30, you get fugly brown wings that do not consume MP.

    Well..no. MP and HP recov doesnt increase with level. only max capacity does.

    I have a +2mp recov hat and that means i can fly forever with my +2.0 white wings. I actually recover some mp with that hat, but for "normal" archers (ie no magic points) mp will stay the same. (I added 13 points into mag at level 10-15 lol)

    The level 30 wings suck. They only fly at 5.5m/sec. I maxed flight mastery skill and it flies at 7.0m/sec (+2m/sec) Thats faster than some boutique wings.

    Upon reading your responses, I will be farming like mad in order to get enough cotton thread to craft a Hat of Ice Silk with the MP recovery bonus. I have two days off in a row coming up and a full bottle of ibuprofen so I figure I should be able to craft something with <1% chance of success in that time.

    Search the Auction House for Hats / Capes with MP Recovery.

    At lower levels, you really don't have to worry about it. Quests that involve flying begin in the 20s, for archers.

    At higher levels, the amount of MP you have is too high for the 2/second cost to be a nuisance in anything but World Quest or when fighting mobs that got that mana leak skill.

    The only time to use those brown wings is when you attacking air mobs but I did this below 20.Clerics don't lose fight but Archers may I did have 20 points in mag didn't think about a + mag ring or cape at the time.
    Looking for a decent casual understanding Faction.

    I use white wings along with a necklace with + 7 mp recovery. I do however on a very rare ocassion fall from the sky while grinding due to my mp hitting 0 before my mp "ticks" up a notch. I think it happened 3 times max, in my grinding between lv 71-now, so I wouldn`t be very concerned about it.
