Does Normal shots DPS >DeadlyShot?

im just wondering this cuz i noticed some EAs use styn,normal shot or thy use stun then deadly shot.it seems to me that u can get in like 5-6 shot for the same time one deadly shot takes.but not sure if it is more effective,anyone help me out? thanksb:victory

/i also want to say it may deppend on ur weapon too right?i mean...if u use sling then rely on dps and if xbow go with the deadly shot/take aim?

    u mean take aim and most use it if stun gets them to around 55% so that if they crit they will bypass their heiro

    Normal shot→Normal shot→Normal shot→Normal shot
    Will get you the 2nd best DPS for an archer.
    The highest DPS i think is barrage.
    Definitely not Deadly SHot.

    On a single foe, normal shot will always be the highest dps unless you open a demon barrage on them. But of course, no one opens barrage on a single foe, right?

    running some quick numbers with my equipment:

    lv10 barrage = ~4700 dps
    my normal shots = ~5400 dps
    sage barrage = ~5300 dps
    demon barrage = ~6400 dps

    True... if you are killing a single mob... normals attacks are good...
    mayb some skill for the first shot.

    I tend to watch their life before they tick n sharp them, then normal shot, stun, normal...
    It all depends on class n player, clerics tend to put their shield, which takes forever, gud venos are La n heavy so metal atacks work too(robe venos are easy), bm/barb metal atack, wizard normal shots n archers normal shot too.

    Basically only 3 class are normal shots.

    Actually, I'd say that normal shots can work well on 4 of the 6 classes. Barbarians and BMs are the only classes where they're completely ineffective. I suppose Heavy Venos too, so call it 3.5.

    As for highest DPS, normal shots with the occasional spark thrown in by far. Especially if you stack -interval. Well, until you get Sage/Demon barrage.

    Also, who was it that liked using Demon Sparked Demon Barrages? Astrelle perhaps? That right there is massive damage b:surrender

    It's entertaining. Try it sometime with double spark -> chi pot -> barrage. Nowhere near the same amount of damage but it's still a rather nice preview. Especially when fighting a boss that has amp, extreme poison, dragon, and armor break on it.

    Of course, if you crit more than twice and the tank doesn't have a REALLY good hold on aggro (or the cleric doesn't feel like saving you), be prepared to die really really soon. b:chuckle
