the way I make money fast, is leaving my quests alone for a while, and grind... just grinding.
further do I not waste time being a catshop but sell everything to npc's. 3star items to the ah, and further grinding. b:victory
you can also look in cat/cow shops in arch, sometimes it's cheaper :)

I have the same problem, do you do DQ?
I suddenly noticed I could afford stuff when I stopped that...
it will be easyer to make money when ur higher lvld. drops will be worth a lot more.
So I see 2 options for u. grind and lvl slow till u have fashion, or lvl fast, save up your money you get from quests and grind then, moneymaking will go a lot faster then.
hope this helps you out a bit, and good luck with it! b:victory

if possible, save all mats you find during the day and sell them in a catshop while you sleep.

try to find a good place to put the shop, if you have mainly mats for tailoring, try to sell stuff near the tailor npc etc.
if you want money fast but a little less look for shops that buy the stuff you have farmed. you won't make as much as from selling it yourself but still more than npcing it.

Fastest way is to keep doing quests which require you to grind on mob. Then you level up AND get drops.

At higher levels you make coin MUCH faster, so your goal should be to level up as fast as possible. The higher level DQ drops, coin and item drops are worth a LOT more even when sold to NPCs. You also get easy access to farming high level mats which are worth a lot more than low level mats.

As an example you can easily make 100K an hour at around lvl 50 if you grind non-stop, this is selling items to NPCs.

Dragon Quests are not worth it anymore. It will cost you a lot more to do them than you will get back from the Copper or Silver Order.

best way is to lvl up and get your needs first, skills become expensive so even if you do buy fashion you would probably end up selling it unless u want to be a weaker than the other bms b:sad fashion is only for looks, doesnt benefit your gameplay as in grinding and lvling up b:bye

that is not a good idea to getting rich. the amount of mob drops you collect while doing your DQ can be sold in catshop to other players for more than 20k - to those who either A) can afford to buy the mats - or B) are too lazy to farm themselves (or don't know what drops what). You are better off using those dq 21/31 mats to extend your bank - giving you more room to store dropped items. if you want to get rich - do like was already said. Keep all your items you pickup (and pickup EVERYTHING - even arrows) and setup catshop while you sleep. Even selling for only double the "price" as listed on the info window will make you more coin than selling to NPC's. Some items though you will want to ask a veteran player about though - molds you don't need - 3 star items you don't need etc..

however - and this is my POV on things. if you have to grind your rear end off to get the kind of money it takes to get fashion - you cant afford to be buying a useless item. spend your money on something else first - a fast mount - a bigger bag/safe - better gear -etc.. fast mounts and bigger bags are an aid to getting rich quick and are more of a payoff than a pair of pants that is only for looks. i dont have any fashion for my character and never will. I think my glowing armor looks nicer than the fashion anyhow.

forgot to mention.. I made a half mil at level 35 just by setting cat shop overnight and dumping all the dq 21/31 items i had collected. I could have been like 90 percent of the other players and charged near twice what I sold for and made a million - or perhaps I would not have sold as much as I did that night. But IMO - you're more likely to get sales if you price fairly. anything that is more than what you would get from the NPC is better than selling to the NPC. Selling for 10x what you get from the NPC is a tad bit high for most items. you may get lucky and sell a few of em - but you likely wont sell em all right away and you end up stuck with it till you drop your prices.

I made Veno and grind for cash, it goes really well for me.

Sell DQ stuff to NPCs! Whenever I get some DQ I items, theyre usually in bulk so I make a big profit.

Only reason why I can afford all these fashions is b/c im in a money sharing plan with my friend, so yeah.
