i am a lvl 12 veno with a scorpion the same lvl as me. i just my butt kicked by a lvl 5 or so archer. i am a little perturbed at this and thinking about playing different character.

    12 is still very early, anything can happen at that level as it's mostly luck. Wait till the higher levels before you decide what classes are strong ;3

    Get used to it..... unless you are willing to make some massive investments on a phoenix to be at par, you will be having your rear handed to you by almost every class in 1v1. On open war, since our strength is being debuffers, we pretty much rock, pet or no pet... you may not kill many by yourself, but you will help your team tremendously by debuffing the enemy.
    Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.

    Each character has it's plusses and others dont. Venos count mostly on their pets and their spells. Ther archer could of had powerful bows AND arrows at the time. he was probably flying, increasing his defence from ground attacks.

    Or he was a high level guy using low level gears only for **** newbies, i see this happen all the time >_>
