Essential Sutra vs Advance Spark Eruption

I have seen that Essential Sutra is a recommended skill to get as a Wizard, but after reading carefully the description it doesn't seems so different from Advance Spark Eruption.

Both skill will recover 10% of your mana and will consume 2 spark. The main difference between Essential Sutra and Advance Spark Eruption is that Essential Sutra remove channelling for 6 seconds and Advance Spark Eruption gives +400% weapon damage for 12 seconds.

In PvE and PvP, which one will be better to use ? Channelling removed or +400% weapon damage for twice longer (and 2 seconds invicibility during the casting) ?

I don't think I've ever seriously double sparked in pvp, now that I think about it. Maybe to try something or for fun/out of boredom, but never in a situation where I needed it. If I have problems killing something I'll use Sutra over Double Spark anytime. Sparking is too obvious anyway, it'll make them run away or attempt to interrupt/stun/etc.

In PvE? Double spark, mana efficient, unlike sutra.
Wondering how much longer these **** packs are going to be around.

double spark works great on archers stun during 1v1
just double spark resist stun and sandstorm them to death
    muwahahahaha

pve wise double spark is more efficent

i use sutra for barbs and high vit BMs
Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

Sutra will almost always win out imo over 2 spark. I can count on one hand how many times I have 2 sparked, while with ES your SS, GS, PG and various other spells are now almost insta-casted. Don't forget that the damage u do with these 3-4 spells adds back most of the chi to get both sparks again if u were at full.

PvE I have never 2 sparked, only ever 1 spark and tempest with the resist hit

    PvP ES=dead archer/bm

On the very rare pvp 2 spark I have used it has been to resist a stun, but if u see it coming then they are probably fighting fare. Good luck finding a fare fight with any class that stuns.

I use it in conjunction with spark pots to see just how high I can hit, other than that it's just a way of showing people who to kill. I actually two sparked during pvp today, luckily my target was semi afk. Any wizard who goes afk outside safe zone deserves my 8.8k crit.

i will try explain u how it works...

    sutra>2spark erupt....if u wanna kill some1 rly fast
    sutra+ult>3spark erupt as well

anyway if u are in boss hunting/or some long pvp use spark since the duration will out kick the sutra

so sutra if u think u can kill the enemy fast wiht it and spark if u wanna do more dmg for wasting chi, becuz it last for longger
