As a cleric, I'm finding it is becoming very expensive spending money on skills and other items that I need. I am hoping that other clerics could lend me some advice on how to make money. I know grinding is helpful, but is there any other way? and also, I would like to hear what you guys farm.

Ofc i am much more noob than you, but for what i read until now in this forum in later lvls (>60) it becomes always more expensive because of the need for gold MP charm to be pretty efficient in the squad game (may if you are rich u can buy in the boutique for some dollars... or spend 500k coins each in game).

There is an interesting topic about AoE grindig for >59 lvl clerics, probably is a good way to make some coin without spending fortunes for charms/MP pots/other ****s to supply to the costant lack of mana while healing in squads.

The only way to make money at low levels is probably farming allt he quests you can make in which you have to kill mobs... So you gain coins from mobs and from quest reward. Avoid Call to Duties, they give cool exp but NO coins at all....

BTW i'm completely noob, may i said only many ****s :D

Not sure bout high levels, but for me I get better results going grinding on mobs that are 5-10 levels above me to increase the amount of drops and coins they leave.

Look for high level mobs that are easy kill for clerics, specially the ones that posion from the distance where you can use Ironheart and purify to neutralize thier attacks.

For example, right now my cleric is level 30 I go near Angler's Village and I grind on the giant spiders (can't remember their names but are the ones with the big blades next to the tombstones mobs) wich are lvl 40. Each Spider I kill give me around 250 exp, 50-100 spirit, 150-400 coins and they drop dew of herbs that can be sold for 1.7K to NPCs and/or Compund oil that you can sell on catshops around 3K-5K.
Sliding we go, only fear on our side. To the edge of the wire and we rush with the tide.
Although I'm still alive, pray to God I survive
How long on this longest day, 'til we finally make it through.

Call of Duty gives you lots of coins if you bother to pick it up.

About charms... I just say talking on things i read here, many says that in high lvls are asked charm user clerics because of their higher efficiens... :P

    With love your noob,

lol the best way i can say is just grind on mobs atleast 2 lvls higher than u...at lvl 56 i started on foxwing supremes up north by hidden heroes village cuz those arent aggresive and supremes in general r known for good drops :)
no need to get a charm...occasionally stop and take a meditation break...nothing to it just slows down ur killing but also saves money from pots and charms :)
also...instead of buying pots...run around and collect herbs...make ur own mp remedies
    as a cleric...as long as u got purify...wood mobs r really easy :)
and a few skills can wait til a bit later to upgrade when ur not that hard on cash and spirit lol
best money i actually can make is off my veno...if u got patience to hunt rare pets lol...the most hated venos of the classes r the rare pet hunters b:chuckle
but hey...it makes money if u can manage to sell ur pet b:victory
hated or not its just an alt and those ppl will LOVE u on your cleric when they need u lmao b:laugh

Another newbie question... I read many about these "herbs" that helps in mana recovering, what name they have and where i can find them? I think are not salvia roots and other herbs i can harvest...

Why the attitude? The guy said he's a newbie, give him a break. For what it's worth though, he made more sense in that one post than you ever could with all your forum posts put together. Yes, if you're not certain I called him a newbie (good) and you a noob (bad).

FBs are good yes - if all you care about is xp and rep. If you want MONEY, you should steer clear of them, as they're nothing but an expense in that regard. Especially since 3*, molds (<roflcopter>and in some cases DQ drops </roflcopter>) go to tabber.

No need for charms? Yeah, no need if you have jiaozi or level 80/90 pots which can actually keep up with your mana burn (and cost more than a gold charm in the case of pots). Something tells me that's not the case here and you expect your squad to wait while you sit and meditate however.

Grinding orange mobs isn't good. It's bad. You don't do full damage, you take more damage, the drop rate isn't increased, only the xp is = you actually spend more money on pots/charms/repair. Stick to white mobs, preferably wood ones.

Also, AoE grinding is great, IF you can do it effectively. Razor feathers alone - aren't. I've seen a couple of clerics aoe grinding petaliis and those whatchamacallit mobs near sanctuary. And they failed hard. It was like spam ironheart 5 times, purify, one razor, purify, ironheart 5 times, purify, razor. Sad part is they could've killed twice as many of the same mobs one by one in the same amount of time. A decent level tempest is a must to actually make aoe grinding worthwhile. Yours it what again? Level one and not going higher? Oh and your buffs aren't maxed. Nor is revive. Or your mastery for that matter. But you leveled seals and thunderball. GG and fail more.

And in response to the OP: nothing much you can do at your level to be honest. Later on, when you start farming higher level TTs, the money will start flowing in. When you have a couple mil on ya, it's a good idea to do some window shopping once in a while and buy super cheap stuff and resell for higher if you have the option to run a catshop mule or leave the pc on overnight.

Edit: as for the mp regen apothecary stuff: 10 salvia roots and 15 crane herbs give you 5 focus powders, which increases your MP recovery by 50 per second for the next 5 minutes. You need to be level 30 and have lvl2 apo to make them. There's an upgrade called a concentrate orb which regens 100mp per second but its level60 req so don't worry about that one yet.
Thing to note here though is that they're best used while you're outside of combat mode, meaning spam healing ironheart on the tank during a boss fight or something along those lines. Soon as you enter combat mode the mp regen is cut down by 3/4 rendering the powders next to useless.

I would advise against grinding on these as they are fire mobs and clerics do not have an elemental advantage against them. The weakest things to grind on for the clerics metal attacks (like cyclone) are wood mobs, like petalii hexkiss or those soulchaser abominent vipers in swamp of the wraiths. These are pretty aggressive, but there attacks are weak, especially if you have maxed buffs.

You always get more xp from flying mobs, but I don't think there are any flying wood mobs past lvl 50x vipions. If you know of some, PM me. LOL

hmm, I did some grinding on the foxwing supremes yesterday - it wasn't too bad, took me a little less than a minute to kill each mob (heh, yeah, I timed it w/e) and that was at lvl 48 (wee!) xp rocked and the drops were ok... I did it mainly for the xp - and I have this strange urge to see how much I can handle... *shrugs*

anyways, one thing I have done is help ppl grind, gives us both decent xp and it's basically free coinage... don't really help venos alot... they are pretty much invincible when it comes to grinding :) i made almost 100k off of one session with a wizard.. (session being about 30-45 min) not the best, but still decent.

... actually, now that I think about it... I help a lot of people with their grinding... hmm.

oh well, i enjoy it b:pleased

well im leveling on dragon quests and sell my dragon orders, thats where i gain my money. i don't need nonstop grinding so i don't buy pots
to save money make apoth mp pots and mp regen pots, at lvl 30 there is mp pot that give 3k mp and mp regen pot that give 50mp per second(might be wrong). you need salvia roots, golden herbs, crane herbs and realgars. i usually pick them up while flying around the world and do my dragon quest. always keep some mp regen and instant pots in bank or inventory for fbs/bosses. one regen pot and you can heal person for 10 mins nonstop :) and start to mediate while grinding or if you have some extra mp regen pots or instant ones you can use them.
at lvl 45 there are other mp pots, one gives 6k mp and other gives 50 hp and mp regen per second. needs: tuckahoe, black henbane and fleece-flower root herbs :)
    i hope this helped

edit: don't grind on higher level mobs, waste of time, money, mp. when monsters are to high level drop rate is smaller too, so why not kill lower level monsters who will have same drop rate. exp difference isnt that big and you kill lower level monsters much faster

Yeah, I would stick with mobs that are your level or less then 5 levels lower then you. If you have a second computer, create another account and trade all of your drops to that one and sell them in the cat shop. That way you can still play and sell your items without having to npc them.

Get a part time job at McDonalds.
Your take home pay will probably be around $5 per hour which you can use to buy 5 gold or about 750,000 coins per hour.
