Imbueing Soul Gems

I'm having a alot of trouble imbueing soul gems to my weapons. I want to fuse a Shabby Topaz Shard into a weapon of mine. I have these weapons:

Silver Spear Lv. 3
Floral Poleaxe Lv. 3
Linked Blades Lv. 3
Antler Wand Lv. 2

it says that I don't have enough sockets when I have about....13 spaces open in my inventory.

Please help me. =[

    the weapon has to have sockets, not your inventory.

    Oh, I see....Uhm, yeah, Can you tell me what a socket it? I'm.......not knowledgeable in this area....

    to have sockets in your wepons you need 2 mirage celestones then go to the elder he will take the stones and put a socket in your wepon

    If your weapon or armour has a socket it will say so. Open the window that describes the item and if it has sockets it will be at the top.

    You won't be able to acquire or use weps and armour with sockets until about level 20 (your character level 20) I think. Even then there aren't many.

    Best advice - every wep or armour you acquire from drops, bonuses, etc., always look at the stats.

    That is refining. Adding sockets to items requires socket stones (many of them) which are a cash shop item.
