Faction Predictions

Just a little bored atm so I thought I'd throw this out there and see who can get it right. Get bragging rights by being the 1st to accurately predict what guilds survive and which ones fall apart.
I won't comment on Enrage as my predictions might be seen as insider information. Please do likewise and only comment on factions that you are not currently part of .
Here's mine:
Evolution: I think they have been happy not to be a target lately and have been living on borrowed time, however I don't think they have been putting this reprieve to the best use by gearing up and training. They'll be left largely unchallenged for a couple of weeks, but once they become an active target they will get wiped out swiftly, and will be the first of the current major land owners to be wiped off the map completely.
Triad: After the merge, influx of high levelled and PK experienced players, and new management structure, I think Triad on paper are an enormous force and the potential to be a serious TW player. They'll make an impressive impact in the first 2-3 weeks, however Ego's and power trips will soon split the guild and they will part ways, their survival will be dependent on just how they seperate.
Radiance: Radiance still has a good player base of high level and experienced players. Unlike other guilds they also have a massive income and if managed correctly could equip their members far better than anyone else. I see onoing internal issues and bickering, and think rather than rebuilding they will be more occupied with maintaining individual status within in the guild and thus will be easier targets than they should be. I feel there will be more large splits and the faction will eventually splinter being swallowed up by others.
Memories: A guild of friends that have come together. I think friendships aside, they'll get bored and either quit the game or meld into other existing factions.
Salad (oops I mean Caesar): Caesar was a guild of friends also but a very powerful and able one. Although I was told that they were not going to be an active TW guild and only wanted a couple of territories, I think their success will get the better of them and they will indeed become a major TW force. I also think they will pick up more experienced TW players from other factions as they become unstable and will be on the map for quite some time.
Think I have it all wrong and you know better ? Post your predictions.

Very insightful Killer, sadly I think you've hit the nail on the head in many of your points and predictions.
Faction stability does seem to be a recurring theme across the HT community.
Whether it be egos, personality clashes, or general boredom who knows.
One thing is certain, its unlikely things will settle down anytime soon with mass migrations of high level players.
Server population is maturing, the tops dogs will likely soon find their levels alone wont be enough to sustain their status.0 -

Evo - They have stood the test of time so I think they will continue to stay. I'm not sure if they will be erased from the map but I am sure that if they are they can get back relatively easy.
Triad - I agree with KB here...it will be a feat for IceTank to hold players who are from four different cliques just a week ago together. This will depend on how well they mesh together. I think if they still lose against Radiance then they might as well disband but if they win, they will probably stay together as a unit till they lose.
Rad - Same as Evo. Its hard for old guilds to die to drama as the people in there have already seen it all and have huge tolerance level. I think Rad will remain the faction with the most lands for weeks to come.
Caesar - They have a good foundation seeing how they are made by a group of friends. They will probably grow at a fast rate to challenge the other strong guilds soon.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Enrage - Have 188 members as of 29-04-2009, They lost few high levels, have around 60 ish 89+ last weekend they had 95ish peopel online during TW. If you guys want to do the math if they get hit by 3 strong faction at the same time wonder how they going to split especially considering that the attacker get extra catapult on lvl2 and lvl1 territory.
And yeah same for you guys Wonder how clunker gonna keep al of you guys togheter in the case you lose and start getting wiped out of map
guess we might find out soon anyway

It doesn't make sense to make predictions on your own faction, duh. Not too hard to figure out.
And yea, maybe someone would take your post more seriously if you didn't sound like someone posting bitter trash over some grudge. Don't just assume everyone is as upset as you think, but your words and actions may be well on the road to making the rest of the people lose their respect for you.
But yea, 8v4 catas on two fronts will be fun. I and my fellow guildies look forward to it.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Nah Sticky you too are missing the whole point. PWI was getting very boring, same old thing week after week, the choice as far as I and many were concerned was to either quit the game and find something else to do, or try to make the game more entertaining. Sure there are a few weirdo's that are happy to zhen their lives away but the rest of us needed something other than dailies to keep us interested. Hense we joined Enrage in the hope of revitalising some spark, sure we are controversial but that beats just mindlessly going thru the motions day after day week after week. So yes if we lost every land. life would be fine, just means we have an even bigger challenge. We traded 1.5mil+ wages each week for absolutely no income at all, unlike others for us it's all about the fun.0 -

I left rad's 1.6 mil paycheck behind when i joined enrage. after building up my enrage pay to 1 mil, i left it again to join up with friends. So yea... to some people money/land isn't really a big deal.
But this do bring up another point... why am i leaving guilds when they are at their prime paying period.1. If I kill you; do something about it yourself, don't go complaining to my wife.
2. If you have less kill counts then me, don't expect me to take pk advice from you.
3. If you are hiding behind an alt, don't expect me to acknowledge your existence.

A bunch of people left because we kept winning. So? What's your point? People leave for all kinds of reasons. I don't begrudge people who leave because we start losing because some people are just LOOKING for an excuse to leave.
@Pwnt: How "seriously" I took it is beside the point. Though maybe my reply may have confused you since I was just a bit irritated at people who change their tunes so quickly just because they change guilds.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I think people leaving Enrage was going to happen eventually. From what I gather a lot of people who joined Enrage did so specifically for TWs but Enrage has suffered from 'Unbeatable Guild' syndrome.
The Triad merger/recruitment/whatever is interesting I think that may have pushed them to at least 2nd in guild power( not sure how strong Enrage is anymore but I guess they'd still be 1st) Real Life commitments have stopped me from attending the last 2 weekends clashes with Triad so I have no first hand experience of their power lately but from what I gather they put up quite a fight last weekend. So like other people have mentioned the next couple of weeks will be make or break for them, but I'd imagine an attack on DWP this weekend would see them victorious.
Evolution, dunno much about them actually only TW'd against them once and aside from Enrage have been the toughest opposition I'd faced in a long time.
Caesar I can see as being a very strong force on the map. I Would imagine a bid on Radiance this weekend.I like pie0 -

If you mean the ex-rad , do you think they care about lands and money? I don't know about the others though.
All I can say is every old member that has left Rad are ppl that put friendship , fun , principle etc above money.0 -

Do people really want to fight a competitive battle?
Those who leave big guilds might not care about money but they care about power a lot more. It's really pointless when you move from one faction to another weaker faction to seek "competitive" TW you take like 30 high levels with you.
So there are actually two types of guild hoppers. The one who seeks higher profit guilds (biggest guild that pays a lot) and the type of players who follows high level players, in hopes of winning more TWs and be the next big profit guild. Either type of player is okay in my book, being an opportunist myself.
But I really don't enjoy players bragging about leaving a large TW guild and how little they care about money when the power and strength of a guild is of equal importance. The truth is, when a lot of high players leave a certain guild, it is harder for you to STAY in the guild than to follow the crowd into a new beginning.
