Trouble lvling my pets

Amsel - Sanctuary

Since i hit 70 i have lost my pets in lvl, I currently only use 3, a magmite, a Dodo and a Fowl, and they are all lower than me, the fowl is closest only because i just got him, but the magmite is at 72 and my dodo at 71, i have stopped doing cs but they still can not catch up to me, is this normal? or should just be grinding more than i am? ive slowed that down a but mostly because i am no longer getting drops from mobs, i a doing my quests and do not understand why this is going on, any advice?

For the land pets, go to the cube of fate and level them on the mice bashing room. It's a good way to catch them up to you.

Surfer_Rosa - Sanctuary

Pets will usually level fast as long as you do a bit of grinding, at your level a pet's xp bar should fill up if you get enough xp to go up 1-2% yourself. Usually doing quests is just enough by itself to level at least 1 pet, but as the above poster said, the mice bashing room should be the fastest way to make them catch up to you.
