I'm quite the lucky guy, I'm finding loopholes in the Friend Quest. Too bad they're bad loopholes.

When embracing, you will not get an orb when they talk to the lady in white

If someone else has done the FQ in the squad and the elder intervenes, leaving the squad and joining another makes the system see you already did it, but the elder says you have not.

Let's see what day three brings for me, I'm on a roll of finding loopholes to not get to do friend quest b:sad
