Mount a Pet?

I am kinda bored bc of maintenace break so wanna ask about pet stuff. How can i mount a pet? Hmm and which pets can be mounted...

SO the only way to get a mount is to buy it from other player? I am venomancer, can I catch mount with tame ?

No you can not tame a mount. The easiest way to get one is to buy it from other players or spend real money in the cash shop. There are a few mounts you can get in game. Two of them are horses sold at a pet manager or pet tamer or whatever they are called for 2.5mil. The others are special horses you get from doing the dragon quest about 1000 times.

Personally I suggest upgraded Aerogear, but if you're dead set on a land mount you can usually pick up a panther for ~800k.

A land mount can be attacked and killed if you lag out or ignore the damage and it has to be fed form what I have been told. It can run pretty fast but so can you and quite frankly it cannot really get you anywhere you could not go + it goes into your bag like any pet.

Aerogear (The Manta Rays and such) go into your character's equipment, cannot be harmed or killed, do not require feeding or anything else (unless you want to use their boost all the time), go darned fast, and can fly and thus ignore obsticales and get you to new places. Also they are great for using in auto-pilot mode to avoid spending another coin on Teleporting + they look cool.

The mount cant be killed.. but you can be attacked while on it.. same thing with Wave pacer or other flying mount.
Sure the mount needs you to feed it... Water. Youre a veno you know the drill.

I do have a spotted one , all upgraded, +3/+5 and i find it slow as a snail... sure you can get from A to B and be AFK .. but you will only go 3M/s

the panther.. basic one, no upgrade, just sit o

Actually any aerocraft upgraded to +3 is almost as fast as a un-spurred lvl1 panther (nearly 8.0m/s).

Yes all mounts are faster, but cant fly or swim through water. There is a chance, you can be dismounted from a mount when you're hit.

Long story short: over a long straight stretch a mount would be faster.

you sure? Spotted manta all upgraded.. max speed, HUB says 6.6 m/s
Panther .. 9 m/s .. same thing? try to compare.; thats a lotsa difference.

(tried to compare my panther 9 with a raptor 10 .. and the difference is like you having a twingo and the other a ferrari)


sure you can be dismounted.
I do go straight.; but since i uses mostly my pnather for the villa, i finish it in less than a hour.

(1h30 - 2hrs with manta)

There is a series of quests to get/learn flying. Don't waste money buying a lvl 30 flying mount as the finale of the quests gives you one for free.

Yes Im sure. Any aerocraft full upgraded is a +3.0. The base flying speed is unknown but is either the character's (base unbuffed) movement speed or darn close to 5.0m/s. With maxed trueform as a tiger I move at 7.3m/s. With my +3.0 aerocraft I move at nearly the same speed (a little faster actually).

A panther is 8m/s not 9m/s at level 1. Sure the panther gets faster as it gains levels.

Pardon me for not using the correct terminology. It was simply an answer to some one not getting their whole life wrapped up in over-thinking a game.

The aerocraft mount (you still have to 'mount' it to benefit from it's services) affords the lesser wrapped up player the option of flying directly to a point to complete or continue a quest without the added hassle of having to fight a 8 xp mob that wants to harass you on the way to collect one flower half the map away from where you are questing.

Oh don't take that the wrong way, I was simply emphasising that they are different thing for just that reason. New folks (particularly untamed) have enough to worry about without getting confused over mounts and aerobeasts. Took me a while to get my head around it too.

And yes, I too dont use a mount. I have a maxed Israfel that works just as well. Mounts may move faster, but like you say, the aerocraft gets you from point A to B without any hassles.
