Strange WQ Items?

Well, I first noticed these back in December during the Christmas Event. I thought I had just accidentally picked it up while killing Snowmen. But now, I realize that's not the case.

After attaining a couple more, I noticed that they appear in your inventory randomly throughout World Quest. It does not appear in your Chat Log saying "You have gained ..." or whatever.

They are labeled with "Lv. 1" and "Lv. 2", so I'm only assuming there are more. They also seem to be rather rare, as I have only gotten 3 over the course of a month and a half. (Yeah, I level ridiculously slow)

I was just wondering if these serve any purpose or what they might be used/needed for. Thanks.

    so far, no purpose at all, they were never taken out of our version. They used to be for housing in PW-MY. I hear ya can sell em for 5k to an NPC.

    It's something the GM's are looking into but at the moment they don't have any use and can just be vendored.

    Ah okay, thank you.

    One more question though. When you say that the GM's are looking into it, does that mean there's a potential that they might serve a purpose in the future? I don't want to NPC something that might end up being useful. :P

    no it means they are trying to for 4 years to figure out how to take out a quest reward.
