Gomda?

I was doing a quest out around Town of Arrivals (Death Note quest) and when I was done, I went to hand it in and came across a gigantic tree frog named Gomda.
It's not tameable (there was no tame symbol) so I was just wondering what it was, because a tree frog doesn't seem like a normal mob to me.

So far as I know it's just a random boss. It's not used for any quests that I know of.

I have seen it too. It has not figured in any of my quests so far. However, it could possibly be a boss for one of the scroll quests. Not sure tho.

Gomda gives good exp too. It may be used for some scrolls or maybe even in a DQ?

Gomda is what we call a joy boss. there's a lvl 30 carapest, i forgot the 40 joy boss, gomda is 50, there's the 60 at tusk town, 70 at the swamp, 80 somewhere around santuary, etc.

These are usually easy to kill and give lots of exp as a reward. even better on 2x exp. There are usually 2 of ea, near ea other's trails. i forgot their spawn time. 5 min? 10 min?

Gomda is ofcourse my favorite, with the lvl70 dino one my second.

EDIT: oh shi wat a nubnub, srry for the revamp Dx

Nope. I've done all the DQs up to the 71 over and over again (not sure whether I'll do the 81...), and the frog definitely is not a DQ "boss".
Slow progress, game is getting way too grindy :-( Quests I still hope to be able to do some day: FB39, General Feng

Yeah, Gomda is one of those unique oddball wandering mobs that walk up and down a road, are kind of tough to kill, and take a while to vanish after you kill them. As brinkt said, there's one of them every 10 levels or so.

I've always wondered what the deal with them was. b:question

Oh, and no, it's not a DQ mob.

One fun fact about Gomda is that it can be pulled all the way to Town of Arrivals. Pure nonsensical fun. b:pleased
