    I agree, but I found out about this problem from MY-EN and it seems as if this was the last straw for many as quite a few well paying customers have packed up and left the Malaysian version and perfect world all together.

    apparently MY-EN just got this update also. so no they are not better ;)

    this one of the worst updates definitely...not even about making profit or getting your money back even can't give to guildie who make use of it. just waste of armor once your done with it.. wont be getting any gold HH til I'm sure it is my last set now. >>

    It's as easy as this:

    Expect to pay a premium for the best gear. You can pay the large amount of money required to have yourself geared up with the best stuff for your level, the fact that these items auto bind needs to be taken into account. Will you spend a ton of cash to have the best stuff at level 80, or just wait til your level 90+ to have equipment that would ultimately make your old gear obsolete?

    If you choose the former, expect to deal with whatever consequences the auto bind brings with it.

    So then when you guys release a new patch with better armor we gotta do it over again? Gimme a break there is no justifying this patch and you know it. This is a "security feature" apparently because it takes 3 days to decompose the equipment but this is about as much of a fail as the security lock. Please, don't just side with this.. consider sending Beijing an email.

    First off I have nothing to do with patches nor do I have any knowledge about upcoming releases, but I believe the answer to this question is yes - that is, if you still want to have the "best" equipment.

    So instead of seeing this as a huge potential mistake you are just going to say too bad? Seeing as this company IS directly connected to PW-Beijing you can't even send a message back? Im sure a lot of people who dont know of this will be outraged. Most of the best paying customers are high levels and not many visit the forums but I will bet you many threads will be created about this when the time comes. Id suggest a little reconsideration before you turn away.

    This will be the best way to get your thoughts to eyes that matter. I am not an employee of PWI, I am a regular player that serves as a moderator for the forums, so these posts in this thread are simply of my own opinion.

    Suggestions are totally ignored. Of course, Gms/Mods read it, but how often 1 GOOOD *** suggestion passes through?

    It was apparent that Dvorak was completely unaware of this auto-bound gold HH. Only making themselves look embarrassing. Release a game/patch without knowing its full content ... /pff

    You are admitting all of Gold HH are auto-bound, or claiming only "some of are meant to"? I can quote you on that before ;)

    Now this thread was opened to discuss what is and what will not be bound, or what is or isn't intended. Not trying to be rude, but stop beating around the bushes.

    Use this thread to see how many ppl dislike this update. It may be less cause not many cash shop high levels visit the forums but it will be an indication

    Sorry for jumpin in this folks, but overall... i can't really complain about "Bind on equip" for the higher level top notch gear. The game is overall free to play (As opposed to other MMO's which shall remain unnamed, costing upwards of 30$ a month just to log into), so spending 2$ (Not sure of the actual amount really, just tossing out a random number) once to get top rated gear that will last me for 10 levels, then being able to break it down for some top notch crafting mods that i can sell in game for upwards of 10k each or use to make other items for my char or friends.... sorry guys, i might just be blind... but i ain't seein the downside to this.

    The biggest concern it seems that players have is the return value (or lack there of) when they advance their levels and new equipment makes the old equipment obsolete.

    The items are obviously designed to be " a badge of accomplishment" to any who wears it, because they would either need to hunt a LONG time to get all of the gold mats themselves (which I know from personal experience takes dedication!) or spend a premium to other players for the materials.

    Essentially, all it removes from the economy is the equipment itself being re-sold. We can decompose the equipment and receive some mirage stones (I assume...never decomposed any of mine on PW-MYb:shocked). As players, we determine in game value if items and our economy, and the common perception is that the return value by decomposing is far, far less than the value of the equipment. Value is all relative, however.

    The binding does cause some other issues. If you let someone borrow an item, and during that time the item becomes soul bound, well, you are screwed. Same goes for alts. BUT...we get to laugh at the PW-MY fiasco, because at least now we KNOW it's coming. We can avoid lending our precious TT (it's Twilite Temple here folks, not Holy Hall) so we don't get in this situation which is totally avoidable.

    The only other scenario....and this should make some pk'ers happy...that it affects is if you kill someone without a guardian angel, now their TT Gold equip stays with them.

    But, look on the bright side. Some of those materials on that other server cost stupid amounts of gold (some on Delphi were asking for around 200 million gold for certain mats). Noone is going to pay that much for something that can't be resold as there is no way to recoup your investment. By default, hopefully, the mats will be more reasonable and more people will be able to buy the mats they need rather than hunting for all of them (some are very,very hard to get).

    Time will tell, but at least we know ahead of time. BTW, the PW-CN version is the same way, so it is apparently the way they want it. We will adapt, as always.
