Any Confirmation on a Necromancer Class?

I've seen some posts reference the possibility of one. I'd really like to play one. I know there is a venomencer but that's not really the same thing. You can't summon minnions or undead things with that. I think it would add to this popular game.

    No, necromancers are cheap cause of their minions (play ab in guild wars)

    The class would overpower others.
