*Now you tell us there is a prize for getting level 40 in closed beta. Don't you think it would have been better to tell us that before closed beta began? People didn't even bother with the closed beta because you offered no reward. Now, to get this reward we have to level to 40 on a pvp server with people already close to 40 that will just grief anyone trying to get the zen prize.

*The ridiculous names of classes, factions, guild titles, cities, etc. I can understand the desire to have your own names, but something a little less hideous than archosaur and squad would have been nice.

*There were four servers that were announced. The only two you bring up for closed beta are pvp servers with half of the community wanting a pve server. Then you announce that only two servers will be up at the start of closed beta.

*This horrible website. This isn't just me I've asked other people; the site is having problems with loading. Avatars aren't functional, images can't be displayed, you had the newbie section labeled n00b discussion, guild section isn't split between servers or pve/pvp.

*Administrator approved moderators. This is a bad decision. Not only does it show you don't want to pay someone for a job and expect free labor, it also shows favoritism. I don't doubt you will show favoritism in game, either. This has been done before, and it doesn't work.

I got sucked into the hype, but I believe thats all this ever was. You show a lack of professionalism, you show lack of talent, you show favoritism, and you show a general ignorance of knowing what you are doing. As it stands, I'm just waiting on the open beta cash shop to be released so I can laugh at it and uninstall this game.

1. There's no limit of winners I believe.
2. This was probably a suprise or sudden event, you can't blame them for making an even.
3. There's nothing wrong with archosaur and squad, though if you dislike it maybe start a well formed petition and "argue" with the GMs. Archosaur are like some kind of crocodile or alligator things, a long line back then, maybe even connected with dinosaurs, thus might be similar to dragons without the myths. (Might be making stuff up...) What's wrong with a squad? Sounds more unique.
4. We can assume there will be 4 servers in the future, though they reconsidered to start with a less servers, thus building the new MMO world, as for PVP and PVE, only difference is you can be ganked? Wait for OB.
5. Guild section may just be updated but you can easily add a tag saying which server you're on. Site doesn't have any trouble for me, do you use Firefox? It was noob discussion, even you called it newbie section. Yet they changed it. Avatars are coming soon?
6. I don't see the problem? They get a moderator who knows the community well and they think can be a help, though even if you insist there's private favoritism, unless it's splendid you wouldn't notice. They're like Gamesages on other games.
7. Does the MY version have greater customization with the untamed? Cause they lack in uniqueness... though I doubt it's some grudge or hate.
8. Being a bit more professional? For example? They can't get more casual or simple with the community?
9. This isn't even an argument or criticism. Are you really 30 years old?

While some people may have troubles with loading the site properly, I never had trouble with it so I can't be any of help regarding this matter, however - I do know that avatar option will be functional in the future. As for images, that option is only available in screenshot section. Noob discussion have been recently renamed, and guild section will most likely have server section of their own soon.

Are you saying that all user-based moderator in any kind of forums are caused by favoritism? Well, I respect your opinion - however I personally would like to tell you that all the moderators here aren't picked just because the admins like us. The admins themselves are moderators too, but it's nice to have a couple of extra helping hand, no? I never seen a job in the gaming industry where they just pay someone solely for a moderator job.

I'm not sure about this one, but that's just how the rules are. Any type of modification to the files aren't allowed here. I will direct one of the admins here to explain further regarding this matter.

That's a false statement. Any account that was found to have altered their character beyond the acceptable parameters (by using the customization UI) was banned. That didn't stop them from creating new characters and violating the ToS again tho...

There is no limit to winners, but once people reach level 40 they will kill everyone lower level to prevent them from getting the prize. This was already done on pw-my beta. Lots of people were griefed to prevent them from getting the gold prize. If I had known there would have been a prize I would have leveled and played from the start to avoid most of this.

There is nothing wrong with archosaur or squad? Ancient Dragon City...or Archosaur? Which one sounds better to you? Squad isn't unique its a FPS name. This isn't battlefield. It's called a Party in MMO.

The difference is pve players are split between two pvp servers in closed beta, and it's hard to find pve guilds and topics in a single guild forum that is 50% flamefest.

Yeah gamesages...like Last Chaos? These people got on my last nerve and belittled the community and tried to make you look like a fool for bringing up valid topics, and if you disagreed they locked the topic.

PW-MY allows pretty much whatever customization you want, as long as you don't make yourself invisible pretty much.

There is a difference between casual and simple and calling the community kids and treating them like one. Do you see me treating you like a simpleton and a kid?

Yes I am 30. I don't mind answering and having a debate or discussion, but I have no interest in responding to flames or bickering. This was really to the admins so they understand how I feel, and what I think.

I'm pretty pissed off at the fact the event is just now announced: I could have been 40 by now.
Now it's too ***king late because for the last few days my isp disconnects me every couple minutes and loading the forum takes years, with this disconnect rate I'd just lose exp every couple minutes instead of gain.

Have you played PW-MY? Zomo has had a big head for as long as I have seen him. IamNobita has been a guild leader of a land owning guild and has been fat for as long as I have known him. Devilwolf has had a red mohawk forever. I have made fat characters and not had any problems playing.

And pretty much most gaming forums run a dictatorship regime because any dissidents in the ranks will cause propaganda against them and gaming community fails if everyone has a negative opinion on it.

There is no limit regarding the number of people who can attain the prize. We could have announced this contest at the beginning of Closed Beta, but if we did we would of have had to set the bar much higher than level 40. I understand you're not happy about playing on a PvP server during Closed Beta. With the current contest you only have 10 levels of which you're vulnerable to attack from other players. Had we started sooner with a much higher level requirement, this would have definitely scratched our PvErs the wrong way.

Moderators are volunteers. There are absolutely no "perks" to being a moderator. You do not receive any in-game items or any kind of cash shop currency for being a moderator. The modification of your client in any way threatens the validity of your account. Why is this rule so black and white? We are VERY serious about botting, hacking, or any kind of third party utilities. Allowing the modification of ini files really turns the issue into a gray one. We want there to be no confusion about this rule, hence why we are actually enforcing this policy. I'm sorry that you don't agree with this rule. We just want PWI to be as clean of an experience as possible for all of our users.

So in clear he means that if they announced that contest at the begining of CB, there would be more winers(it's naturel to have few winers(to get TEN gold), thats why they would have to ask you(for eg)to reach lv 60or50, if they would have announced it at the begining of Cb.

It is a granted that we have these events opening for us until CB end, and it's better than nothing.
Why bringing up such as fuss. If you don't like it, then don't play it.
This site and this game is still in progress to PERFECT, so let's judge it thumb up or down until it' official become PERFECT WORLD INTERNATIONAL.
Anyway these staffs doing a great job so far: latest patch, short CB, events hook up,...OB right in the corner.

if they told u there's a prize when u hit 40lvl, ofc u'll lvl to 40 in CB (cuz u only want the prize). the CB is for testing the bugs, not giving u a prize. what lvl u got be4 they announced this (cuz u dont care about anything not even to lvlup, only want pk) :cool:

well as i want to add some imput to the convo myself, first i would state two things, that both Matt and Xarfox are on top of my personal sympathy and respect list.
Moreover from Matt's posts around the forum i learned that he is rather calm and friendly person (even if he ignored my PM :P), and that Xarfox share the same two atributes. enough said.
But i do notice some black-white extrame here. something is "nearly unbearble" or "is super-hyper-i-love-it".
1. 40lvl reward issue. yea my first reaction was "wow yay a reward" [looking back at calendar->fast math] "oh ****... missed". well honestly i am 29 lvl not by acident. i stoped traning for two reason: leveling just stoped to be obvious easy and fun-only and i dont see the point to level up my chara any higher then this as it will be all wasted in next 4 days. and the secund reason, well i do look and read around and seeining all this PK whine-fiesta all over the forum is really making me scared of hitting 30 aka PK lvl at PvP server lol. i am here for fun and my own personal pleasure. if i want to be mass-fraged i would just run UT2K4 with impact hammer all the match lol.
moreover - i technicaly CAN hit the 40lvl if i treat it as a challange. if the only thing i would need to challange would be the time. But what Matt said its kind a true if you think about it for few minutes. from unknown reason the grief-kids population in this game is rather high and now they can be a pain for all the people wanting to hit 40lvl. As it just the oil for their fire.

2. for the names. umm yea i complatly agree with this Anachosaur- something city. to be honest i havent noticed any body using that name. all people use "ADC" or "Dragon city" as its not only easer to remember but also easer to type lol
as for the rest of the names - i dont know, after playing years of nippon RPGs (not MMO) i am really used to weird mobs with even more weird names. as far s they can be memorised easly i em okey with it.

3. yeah this kind a disapointed me also =\ i just dont swim that way. i enjoy the other people playing with me aspect VERY much. but if i can be backstabed or killed when traning by other ppl. or need to log off when i want to be afk rather then go up where mobs cant hit me and meditate... i just dont like it and its not my interest. thata all.

4. yeah that "noob" name suprised me as well but oh well. btw if anything deserve the "noob" name for the section it should be PvP one. as for the site, lol yeah its been like a russian rulette till yesterday. only the login process could eat up 5minutes. but now its somehow better. i dont have the past problems now.

5. well the moderator is a sorry-a$$ job and just no body want to have it, thats why most forums i read mods are not dev-team related. you would want to be Mod? i wouldnt. honestly. even if from some unknown reason they would ask me to be one.

6. umm i dont get that "Fat pandas" comotion. yea i see it all around the forum but i dont get it. and what i cant understand even more is why this issue is so bi-polar? ppl want fat pandas, devs forbiden any modification to ini file. fine, then just edit the in game option so the players can make more fat or thin charas in game and v'la - problem solved. fat-panda lovers (ROTFL on that, not offensive, it just sounds funny xD) will get their fat pandas and ToS will not be abused. everybody will be happy and huging each other.

7. well seeining that "wink" emot-icon in nearly every post of admins is a topic of my personal jokes that maybe Xarfox is one-eyed or something lol but it doesnt affects me that much. if you post and speak in public you will get a public answear. and as most of the comunity here (the part that actouly speak their mind here) is rather childish they type the same tone reply. but this has also changed after some many posts. to be honest - if i want to solve something with admins i would PM them directly rather then create a thread about it and been called a "atention-****" in instant by others.

the last thing: well ive seen better admins then here but also ive seen way worst that this. i cant rant much about them but i also dont have a Xarfox poster above my bed lol. its medium. or maybe 6+/10 as they learn to improve very fast (from my own observation).
mostly that self-called "Defenders of Justice" are the one that pisses me off. you write some easy-going post and they just pop up from nowhere saying you to not spam. bah.
also i hate that admins-defenders who will attack you when ever you say you dislike something in game or you think something can be improved. listen buttplugs - admins can speak for themself, acting as their advocats is needless and just makes THEM loss balls in the eyes of the casueal readers. if a man is a man he can speak for himself. without his fan-club rushing to fight for their idol.

I am aware there is no limit to the number of people that can attain the prize. I am also aware that once people reach level 40 they grief everyone so others cannot get it. It is the consistent poor communication and decision making of this company. Sorry, you already rubbed us the wrong way with no pve server on closed beta, this is just salt in the wounds. If it isn't broke, don't fix it. The english translation was pretty good, but the names for stuff like I mentioned should have been left alone. Venomancer, Barbarian, Executor, Archosaur, Squad, Faction, etc. the list goes on.

Starting a game with an incomplete website seems rather unprofessional to me.

Removing, deleting, and locking peoples threads or posts is no perk? I'm sure they can get inside information as well, probably. When people come to the forums and wish for an administrator, they do not want to deal with a user moderator that has no responsibility to the company, that blocks users from attempting to speak with an administrator. These people I encountered in another game were also given in-game items. I'm not saying it's happened here or will, but it's happened in the past and I didn't like it. People do not want to see favoritism in any way, it makes them lose faith in a company's ability to run a fair and clean game. You need a moderator, go hire one.

Opening an .ini file and typing in 255 is not botting or hacking. If you are very serious about botting and hacking, then stop worrying about some fat panda and go tackle botters and hackers, which last thread I read on botters you let them continue to operate in the game. A fat panda gets banned, yet you sit back and watch bots and do not ban them...for what exactly?

Apparently, you don't understand these players are level 95-100 and some of the top players in the game. This doesn't require a fine comb, when these players have been in game since day 1 and are very active.

Yes. A larger appaearance onscreen don't increase the clickable area of the char. So you may click on the fatty but still click outside the char's area.

You already did it by choosing to not open a PvE server to begin with. Are you not even aware that a good portion of your PvE players did not even bothered to play in clopsed beta to begin with?

It is the consistent poor communication and decision making of this company. Sorry, you already rubbed us the wrong way with no pve server on closed beta, this is just salt in the wounds. How about this..announce before closed beta there will be a prize, and have a pve and a pvp server...win/win..is that too difficult?




If it isn't broke, don't fix it. The english translation was pretty good, but the names for stuff like I mentioned should have been left alone. Venomancer, Barbarian, Executor, Archosaur, Squad, Faction, etc. the list goes on.



You also said there will be four servers. My point was if there was any method to this madness, or did you go to the break room and flip a quarter twice to determine what servers you are using every phase.



Starting a game with an incomplete website seems rather unprofessional to me.



Removing, deleting, and locking peoples threads or posts is no perk? I'm sure they can get inside information as well, probably. When people come to the forums and wish for an administrator, they do not want to deal with a user moderator that has no responsibility to the company, that blocks users from attempting to speak with an administrator. These people I encountered in another game were also given in-game items. I'm not saying it's happened here or will, but it's happened in the past and I didn't like it. People do not want to see favoritism in any way, it makes them lose faith in a company's ability to run a fair and clean game. You need a moderator, go hire one.



Opening an .ini file and typing in 255 is not botting or hacking. If you are very serious about botting and hacking, then stop worrying about some fat panda and go tackle botters and hackers, which last thread I read on botters you let them continue to operate in the game. A fat panda gets banned, yet you sit back and watch bots and do not ban them...for what exactly?



Apparently, you don't understand these players are level 95-100 and some of the top players in the game. This doesn't require a fine comb, when these players have been in game since day 1 and are very active.

1. there is nothing wrong with changing from offering no rewards to offering something. It is a good change for players, it shows that this company want to keep players play their game, it shows that they are capable of changing for the better, even if it "missed" the big picture like u said. I'd rather have a doctor who admits that he doesnt know about a condition and goes and thinks about it and changes his management, then an ignorant doc who makes up his mind on a totally irrelevent condition and manages u that way and will not change because he doesnt want to seem like a stupid ****.

2. the english translation is fine, why are u so resistent to change? I can bet u that the new players will be learning the game from these names, not the MY names. If u decide to keep using stupid names in MY like "zhen", "wb", "wf" or whatever **** ppl made up, go ahead and do so uself, but don't expect the other ppl to do the same. the new comers are playing perfect world INTERNATIONAL, not perfectly world "MY" (MY is a **** name too)

3. Again, I can promise u that NO ONE ever makes a decision with a flip of a coin (I would never even think like u do because, simply, it doesn't make sense), so i dont' know why u would assume something that doesn't make sense. I am sure this decision was made based on a big number of considerations. (this is something for YOU to think about, it's not the company's job to babysit u)

4. Starting a game with incomplete website? oh boy, think about all the people who have been saying they are so eager to start the game as soon as possbile! there are also ppl who think that CB is useless because it is a relatively polished game as it is (not sure if u r just trying to be "different" here or just whining just for the hell of it)

5. the moderaters are volunteers, and they were chosen by the company. Those "perks" u refer to are essential for their job. You can NOT expect someone to do something that is not possible to do. (seriously i dont' understand why ur points are so moo). If they aren't doing their job as moderaters, do u think they can keep being a moderator forever? Does it matter if they get some inside information? How does it affect u really? The admin's already said the moderators WILL NOT get anything in game. Why do u keep insisting that they will? I will repeat here, they WON'T!! (again.. such a moo point to even bring this up). You telling the company to hire mods? How old are u? Do you pay for ur own stuff? unfortuntely the company needs to pay for their own stuff so they are asking trust worthy volunteers to the job. There are plenty of reliable, and enthusiatic ppl here who wants to, why pay uncessaary money for ppl who may not even be interested in this game or job? especially when it may come out of players' pocket? (u need to look at the bigger picture here).

6. with the ini editing, someone else already pointed it out. People can also make skinny chars, so skinny that u will firstly, not see them, secondly, hard to click on. That is why they dont' want players to go editing those things. As for the bots. I personally wasn't there, were u there uself? did u see the GMs just sit back and watch them bot while they sat back and did nothing? We all know how many ppl out there mistake real players for bots, for stupid reasons.
