bottom of the page it says that the release date was august 15th could they of said the 18th just to surprise us or did they push it back and i didnt read that part

    you would have to agree this would be a good surprise to get players started but keep down lag right away because you know everyone wil all log in at once when it comes out of the 18th

    I think it was the 15th originally but then changed just a few hours/days later to a few days later. The date on that site hasn't been updated for a while.

    We all can't log in at the same time either if it starts at midnight of the 18th most of the intended NA and EU audience would be asleep and we all don't wake up at the same time. So the Australians and people nearby them will be the first ones playing while the rest of us are sleeping - unless you plan to stay awake on the 18th for that head start.

    If I counted well, they'll open at midnight on the North American east coast, 5AM at GMT 0 (UK), and 6 Am at GMT +1 (France, Germany, Netherland...)

    Very possible it's a typo if the person who was keying in the info used the numberpad on the date. I mean 8 is just above 5.
