Would It Be Possible to Make the Absence Notes...?

I was wondering how hard it would be to make the absence notes redeemable through the 1st day of the next month?

I was so close to a perfect attendance run this year. I had connect problems and couldn't get on until after the cut off time for August 31st. I can't use my absence note because the calendar turned over to September. With the notes being coded the way they are, you have no option if you be unlucky enough to miss the last day of the month.

So, is there maybe a simple fix for it, like adding an extra day to the notes?
