A New Form quest NPC missing?

I'm on the step "Old Memories II", which says to speak to an NPC in Den of Rabid Wolves, except there isn't one. I checked the coords in the database in addition to the auto path. Is it glitched? I did fill in a ticket. The name of the NPC is Niang Hu.

    Did you get the memory shards first?

    If I recall correctly, that NPC won't appear until you have completed the pre-requisites.​​

    I've been working on the chain. "Old Memories II" is only my available list, so I can't pick it up without the NPC there. I killed about 50 of the mobs in the description just to see, and nothing drops. DB says 70% drop rate, so I guess I need to retrace my steps in the chain to see if I missed something.

    The only active side quest I have is the original "New Form". I took it again to see if I could just start over, but once I talk to the veno NPC in Lost, she sends me to the Elder. But the Elder doesn't have any quests for me.

    I wonder if I didn't do something stupid like sell the memory item.

    To answer your derail of the thread, check the class discussion threads for Venos. there should be at least a few guides that will explain it there
