    Yeah... I was kinda wondering exactly how they'd account for a level 20 "purple" that could be used at lower levels.

    The intention is very clear and there is no spinning it. Cryptic is trying to get you to open lockboxes. This trick in particular is really ****ing cheap.
    I'm glad I didn't give in and bought a 10-pack of Keys just a moment ago.

    I'm sure it is a overlooked mistake, same as "that" incident. And I am sure Cryptic is efficient enough to change the purple stats to the correct one... in a day's time. It did happen to "that" incident, after 40 mins.
    "Lucky" is the new FOTM.

    You can only salvage level 60 purple items. That is a level 49 item. That it has the same stats as a blue is questionable. That you cannot salvage it is wai.

    I'm more upset that they made the Owlbear mount from the boxes BOP.

    If I'm not mistaken its the first time they've set a major item from the boxes as such. Making it so you can't buy the prime rewards on the AH represents a major shift in their policy with lockboxes. Seems like this would do nothing but anger those wanting to sell it as well those like me that'd rather just buy it with AD instead of buying keys.

    We're aware of this. This should be changed in the near future.

    Update: All existing BOP will be set to BOE once our changes are in. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience. We're working quickly to correct our mistake.

    Yay BOP thing is a bug!! which is good Cause I honestly think it will decrease the amount of boxes opened. since in previous boxes I opened a lot of them to get stuff for trade-bars. so I want to open all my boxes on my trade-bar girl if I got a pet or mount id just send them to the appropriate character. or if I didn't want the mount I could sell it or give it to a family member.

    Hubby REALLY wanted the owl bear, I am not big on mounts so my plan is open boxes for dragon (which I had hoped was going to be a controller) and send owlbear to hubby. if owlbear had been a zen item they probably would have made a lot of $$,

    Well hopefully they will put a Snowypolar Owlbear on bar vender or sell it for zen for those of us with bad luck.

    People used to waste their money on useless overpriced things with brain off. I bought a few keys myself, and the drop forced me to create this thread and make a decision to spend money on something else :)

    I find it somewhat disappointing that they dare to call it a "new" lockbox when all they really did was to change the name of most of the items from Feywild Lockbox. They even published it as (formerly named xxxxx). I mean c'mon.. sure the mount and new companion seem fun even if it's still a mount/companion, same as in previous boxes. But what else is "new" really?

    From the article: "We'll be introducing a new lockbox then with even better rewards!"
    Did we just get lied to or when are the better rewards coming? Sorry but I bought 20 keys and feel ripped-off. Could have used them on the original nightmare lockboxes and probably gained more of it. I will NOT make this mistake again.. thanks.

    What do you expect from this company? Its a free to play game they dont have the resources. 2 people working on content isnt enough they need 3 atleast.

    And people dumb enough to buy keys should get what they get which is usually nothing great anyway. If you are not bright enough to know how a F2P game works then you should just waist your money.

    The Dark Forest Arsenal tooltip now properly states that it can award a waist item instead of an arm item.
    So, there's everything alright with those except this?

    Are you sure? It says "This is a level 60 item that can be used at lower levels." So it sounds like it's not a L49 item, you can just start using it at L49. Ergo, it should be salvageable.

    It has the stats of a level 60, but it's actual minimum level has to be 60 for it to be salvage.
