I've done about 50 matches today and not a single afker in them

    Guess I'm just unlucky

It's rare that I get into a PvP match that is actually 5v5. Nearly every match, there is an early leaver or an AFKer.

There needs to be an early leaver and AFKer penalty.

It also wouldn't be a bad idea to scale mounts so that they all have the same speed in PvP and implement gear score ranks for level 60 pvp.

A system should be implemented that kicks an idle player in PvP after 5 minutes has passed.

A player queuing would then see an option like this:

    Join match in progress?
    Stay in Queue

    Or something like that.

I doubt a lot of AFK players are actually AFK. They did have to join the group after all. I'm sure there's just sitting there while doing other things. A 5 minute idle time wont deter them since they'll just hit the mouse or something every few minutes.

5 minutes is way to long to have an idle ally in PvP. I'm thinking 2 minutes. Or less.

a minute, or a minute and a half would be a good metric for an AFK kick system

That wont stop afkers. Penalties are the only thing that will work.

Being present should equal alot less than accomplishing objectives and totalling statistical actions. A major part of the issue is that showing up = points earned, which encourages heavy piking. If they made it so that piking took months to earn the same thing someone who actually participated took 1 week to earn, the piking would be all but nonexistant.

    Options:

-If they implement in you have to move once every 30sec or you get a AFK warning, another 1min later you get booted.

-If you don't move for 2min you get an AFK warning, you then have 1min to attack another player or you get booted.

Personally I like option 2 and it works best. Also if you leave a PvP Match early you get a 15min Debuff where you can't queue. In this game its virtually almost impossible to win 4 vs. 5, so if someone leaves mid match and doesn't get replaced you pretty much lose. Now with that being said I can live without the 15min debuff, its just a suggestions, I think it would be nice to test drive before I could say if I even fully support it.

Too easy to make a macro to just tap a key to move every 29 seconds. They need to REMOVE non damage/healing players from loot/xp/glory/ad drops in pvp, and base some of it loosely on participation- otherwise its exploitable.

The problem is names aren't Unique in this game so often times the idiots kicking immediately or flaming in PM's have no idea how to read unique names. Names have an @something at the end of the name, I have been instant kicked from several games in a row because Scythe@moonlifelol shares my name. I have yet to afk in a game in fact I am almost positive I end up winning more games than not. I also happen to have a nice screen shot of me killing this AFK Scythe in his GY repeatedly, brought me much joy. But remember there is a difference between Scythe@moonlifelol and Scythe@alisstair besides the unique name we have different gear and features.
