  • If a piece of T1 is an upgrade for you, you cannot complete T2's. T1's dropping in T2's was a horrible idea to begin with, and they managed to make it even worse.
  • I agree that communication is vital to complete a dungeon, but joining a guild doesn't add a couple of IQ points and miraculously makes you or your guildies great players.
  • The idea of the DD chest was to make it easier to gear-up, BoP was meant to get AH prices in check. That's the theory. In practice though there are less groups (for whatever reason) and higher restrictions (gearscore) on players wanting to group. It really isn't more complicated than that.
  • I haven't been playing for a long while because of this. I don't mind nerfing, but I don't like the devs stating they 'listen to the customers feedback' and then do the complete opposite. I realize a game such as this has numerous bugs, but quality control in this game is really subpar with patches introducing more bugs…
  • But that's the thing, if you need T2 gear to finish T2 dungeons but only get T2 gear from T2 dungeons, than that's a problem. And a lot of people, me included, feel that way. A dev stated they do not play their own game at end-level, they're letting the players sort it out for themselves. If that's true it would explain…
  • I remember when the GF's block was mismatching between client and server, and this pre-stop Unstoppable feels very similar. It has the same kind of delay I've seen with stamina, block, stealth and divinity and have come to expect from normal lagging (EU player)
  • Well, that would explain all the bugs coming through. But if it's true, it's a real bad idea. There's just not enough content to make half of it only suited for the uber-crowd. Also if it's true, it's false advertisement. If an average group takes 1.5 hours, the 'average time' of the dungeons should state 1.5 hours. But I…
  • There's a reason why the LFG channel was needed, the queue just doesn't work. I'd rather see it tied in with my friend's list and be a bit more public. Like the job posting's board in PE, we could have a mercenary's or adventurer's board. Like filling in an application, stating my class, gs and extra comments. I'd like to…
  • And then there's the pvp and gauntlgrym stuff, as well as the new fluff'n'stuff from Sharandar and the Summer Festival True, the chests now offer blue gear too, as do the bosses. Longer queue-times because nobody wants to do dungeons anymore is a good thing? Please explain. So if an epic piece or armor drops from a boss,…
  • The way it was before: you could share stuff between alts. The way it is now: you cannot share stuff between alts. If you like how it is now but would rather still be able to share stuff, that's saying you like it better the way it was. It's more than confusing to state that BoP is fine as it is and then proceed stating…
  • Here's what I saw: T1's selling for peanuts which you could get through a few dailies. People whit full T2 gear and enchants farming the T2's and selling the T1's they get as a side-catch. This meant the folks only being able to run T1's had a severe handicap in getting the T2 gear. It was either very expensive or they…
  • That's weird, first you start by saying BoP is fine and they you finish by stating why it isn't.
  • Erhm.... it says in the description of the dungeons "You'll get a change at Tx feet/main hand/whatever" That ought to be a clue ;)
  • We already had that. The devs didn't like that and now we still have it, only with the trinkets and not the clothing. "Need" should bind, "Greed" should not. Initially I was more negative about this, because those ADs don't fall out of the sky. (Well, actually some do, but it won't pay the bills). Trinkets do sell for…
  • I've got all 5 classes and my usual playstyle is that I'm all over the place, keeping track of as much as I can. That said, a TR who sticks to the boss is pretty stationary, and a DC with (a team with) good threat-management can be quite laid-back too. CW's tend to draw a lot of attention from the smaller mobs and require…
  • BoP is a horrible idea and imo just designed to artificially slow people's progress while pushing them to buy Zen. Case in point: http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?477891-Neverwinter-Astral-Diamonds-Guide Too many bugs are introduced with the patches and too many get 'fixed' by changing the tooltip. Forcing…
  • No. We're doing enough beta-testing for the devs as it is. I don't like being forced to install software I don't use and don't need in order for them to get my suggestions on how to improve it. I only have one suggestion: make it optional. Seriously, this one is a game-breaker for me. The moment I no longer have full…
  • He's right. Simply put, Arp relates to how much of your damage is NOT lost on defense. I'm sure there are perfect balances for someone's playstyle, but it does wonders for your dps.
  • Sure, some of us won't be as bright as you elite players ;) but let's just assume you top 1% don't actually buy enough Zen to keep this game afloat, like the masses do, so when the masses are hurting due to the grinding, something needs to be done.
  • Heh, you can disable the visuals or transmute it into something else. But there's some gear out there that's whackier than the blue bird's face.
  • I've heard you will able to get a gearscore of around 9k or so with blue gear and enchants. Basically it's just another grinding-delay but it ought to get you in the first few dungeons. Same as with the pvp gear, I like the DC's sets for their faster Divinity. But gearscore is less important than teamplay. Gearscore does…
  • Same here. We've all been reduced to a bunch of solo players who just happen to run around in the same area trying to get some money. Other than just for fun, there's no reason to run dungeons anymore, and frankly with the bugs and exploits running rampant, it's not that much fun to begin with.
  • No matter how much you enjoy killing stuff, this game is only about the gear. Post-60 that's the only thing you can advance, and let's face it, advancing is the core of any rpg. If getting that stuff is just mindless, boring reruns of the same run each and every time, there will be less incentive for the boring part and…
  • On Euro times there are plenty of pugs who don't understand English very well, so I learned to keep it simple: Mobs on DC = No Heals Red = Bad, Blue = Good Red > Blue TR is more popular than the CW only because TRs are supposedly more OP than a CW. Then the GWF, because even though nobody likes to bring one along to a…
  • "Need" is bound, "Greed" isn't. I think it can be as simple as that.
  • Botters just make an account, run a pvp script until they hit 60, the run a gathering script to get the enchants. When (or if) they eventually get banned, they just jump to a new account. Their only limit is pc-power. It makes for fine PR, 2 million accounts, and we'll likely never get to hear the true number of active…
  • I worried when I first saw the first big expansion, Gauntlgrym. The pve area is nice, the dungeons look okay too, but all in all it's just more of the same, and the same already had a lot of problems. Now Fury of the Bugfest, and I think they just tried to do too much. A new area, new gear, new economy and an overhaul of…
  • I worry that when we no longer spam bug reports and roar on the boards, every bug will get fixed by changing its tooltip description. I really like the GWF and we would be fine.... if we didn't have to compete with 4 other classes that do everything we do better.
