I completely agree with all of this. And maybe I didnt make myself perfectley clear, Im against DPS classes running first into mobs then dying and spamming for help. I am End game and Ive never heard of anyone checking companions when putting together groups. Personally I check the type of character then the equipment their using (i.e weapon set, artifacts, and artifact equipment) THEN item level.

Building your companion is what I call "invisible damage" ide go for your character first as your item level is the FIRST thing 99% of people look at when putting groups together.

No issues. Just curious how another GWF was able to deals massive amounts of damage with such low gear, and wondering if a lightning enchant is greater then a vorpal for damage dealing.

Thanks for the advice guys but my impulsive nature got the better of me. I ended up exchanging my lostmauth set for valindras set at the relic vendor (Valindras artifact is power just like Orcus) and dumping it into then demon set. I dont regret it my damage has sky rocketed but its gonna cost me some AD in the long run.…

That was very enlightening thank you for the detailed response. During that castle never run I beleave I was running ahead of everyone and getting damage before my team had the chance so that may he why I scored higher in damage since its unlikely anyone with gear like that would be ignorant to proper rotation and skill…

Im regretting this purchese but Im hoping that eventually someone will take it off my hands. I tryed trading it frequently for an item worth slightly less but is more popular but I have yet to get even 1 offer. Im chalking this one up to a loss and lesson well learned.

Thats true but from a money making stand point there are only 2 there one is 2.6mil and mine is 1mil thats prime for someone who buys low and sells high. Im just baffeled its been a month and still nothing.

That was more of an advanced answer then I expected lol. I think its clear where to invest my time and resources now, my companion and mount. I didnt know about protectors camradarie but ill definetly look into that. Im ok for boons as I have all except 3 from storm kings thunder and I belong to a level 20 guild. Thank you…

I use the alchemist experimenter, 3 offensive slots, hes ranged, and decent active bonus. Any opinions on him?
