For the sake of argument I decided to respond to this atrocious post. Yes the GWF does indeed. If you could be bothered to look at the Sentinel feats on the link supplied below you will find that they can: http://nwowiki.co/index.php?title=Great_Weapon_Fighter I would agree if you had said "a bit more". But not much more.…
I cannot say that I have. I came across this image on pure coincidence and I liked the imagery. But I have considered picking it up either as a physical copy or just buying it for the Kindle.
Even if they are recalcitrant or hesitant towards this way of thinking I aim to prove them wrong. As for suggestions regarding the GWF I found that taking points into Defiance along with the Daily Slam (or Spinning Strike but not both.) to help with aggro if you feel you need more. Defiance: Slam and Spinning Strike…
The GWF is greatly misunderstood and it is very powerful if played correctly. I can also confirm that a GWF can tank and maintain threat as a very viable option to the traditional sword and board archetype. My plan is to definetly build a more durable and threat building GWF instead of the cookie cutter DPS that most will…
Oh have I got moral dilemmas lined up for everyone in my foundry quests and planned campaigns! Of course with a limited ability to change the actual outcome in the game I can still affect a persons conscience.[h=1][/h]
Basing information on the beta client would be quite moot anyhow seeing as how they change things around constantly. Adding it now would make the information incorrect once the game launches. Even then they will probably make changes farther down the road. What could be done is to gather information on the names of items…
Thank you VERY much for this initiative. While I am no programmer and I got VERY basic knowledge of it works I cannot possibly give any sort of proper input there. Instead I would like to contribute any sort of information to add to your database I would be glad to assist. I am very much a D&D lore geek, especially…
Perhaps I am just starting to get old but I really cannot read anything like this when there is barely any structure to a text. Please use some paragraphs there!
You worry and fret a bit overly much over a single image. You could also look at the image right below where a Drow sits atop the spider mount. Black skin and white hair. It is easy to start letting your imagination run rampant. As for Drow GWF, you got one here. I don't care much for the min/maxing about it. I'll still…
Yes, it was intended for the OP. I structured my post poorly. My apologies. Strangely enough though, I disagree with the names being "lame". But it's already in there and I doubt they have plans on changing it.
1. Barbarian is not a Fighter. 2. The naming is not "lame" it is taken directly from the Player's Handbook (4th) edition as suggested build options in the fighter section. The Fighter class is the core while the suggested builds in the core rulebook named them GWF and GF due to the choice in powers and skills.
Of course I made it too easy. Whiskey and beer does that to most people. Spelling becomes somewhat of a nuisance as well as putting your pants back on. Durned zippers.
Make your character into what YOU want him to be. That's the entire point of an RPG. No idea why comparing a thief from real life to thieves in a fantasy setting has any bearing on what you believe a rogue to be.
I'm a bit weirded out by this as well. If anything a riding lizard would have been more befitting. Though I doubt anyone not understanding Drow lore would find a lizard as cool.
While it remains true that Drow do consider all other races inferior to them. At least where the inhabitants of the Underdark are concerned does not make it impossible for Drow to have different thoughts regarding this. While it is true that Drow do keep some of the Duergar as slaves there are powerful Duergar settlements…
I might be considering joining this guild of yours. I'm a bit above the median for the standard age in MMOs (32). I have played D&D since the first edition and I am a huge fan of the Forgotten Realms. Ran a PW together with 3 other DMs in NWN for many years back in the day as well. Huge Drow fan, but not a fan of Drizzt. I…
