  • Oh my god! They could basically ban you for whatever reason they came up with. Or no reason apparently... What a thing to write into your terms.
  • Wait... I am not allowed to make another account, buy VIP. Rank up a toon to level 70, equip it to itemlevel 13.000, so that it can run all 3 random queues, and then making my 100.000 AD each day on that account. Then once a week not transfer the AD over. But buy stuff my main toon needs, like say a rank 13 enchantment and…
  • @"ecrana#2080" @nitocris83 Thank you both for the replies. I had missed the adjustment made on the rings. I don't understand why I don't see other +4 drops though. I ran 5-6 in quick succession with friends the other day, but I still didn't get a +4. This leaves me with over 20+ runs without a single drop better than a +3.…
  • @nitocris83 What would cause you to bind the White Owlbear Mount to account no matter how you obtain it? I don't use it, or plan to. I am just a curious monkey.
  • This change will also affect our daily RP gain. As you won’t run all your alts everyday they won’t proc wanderers, dragon hoards etc.
  • Random queues are not intended to be something that you queue for only wishing to participate in a subset of the included queues. It is not intended that you queue up, don't like the queue you arrive in, then leave. Obviously, we understand life happens, and you may need to abandon for legitimate reasons. In those cases,…
  • In regards to the "no reason to run alts" post. You are right, there are several reasons being invoking, weeklies etc. I have possibly found another way to reach the 100k ad cap on more than 1 account in the same time, so I am no longer overly bothered about that. Players will always find a way.
  • It has risen on Xbox as well, and I am guessing it is because people are anticipating a Jubilee Zen sale coming.

It's not a name change, though - you'll still be using Brave Seals to buy Primal gear and weapons,…
  • None of you should really care whether they raise the daily account cap or not. They could raise it to a million a day and it wouldn't make a difference. What needs to change is how we earn that AD. Because with the changes to how you can now only earn them on your first run through per account, your main concerns should…
  • Hi, As I read it, they are planning to remove all requirements for queuing up other than item level requirements and the newer dungeon unlocks through campaign.
  • This wouldn't be a sink. A sink is something that "destroys" and removes the AD from the virtual world of Neverwinter. By trading them on the Trade House the AD simply changes hands.
  • tigernuno 4:29PM "Those of us who grind several toons through dungeons each day, don’t do it for fun." See this is where you got it wrong. A GAME IS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN. That's the whole point. You just admitted you play not for fun, you play cuz it's your job, it's a chore. That's when you should move on and find a new…
  • They could raise up the daily account refinement amount to 500k. It will make very little difference. At least as long as the only the first random queue rewards are awarded per account, it will require a tremendous amount of time to acquire the salvage to make up for the remaining amount of AD that you will be short off.…
  • Just how hard do you think they are down scaling your characters? Trust me, you will still destroy any and everything at 18k. Presuming you know how to play the toon.
  • If this is meant to make low level dungeons more fun I welcome the change. But while we are on the subject, why not add the old dungeons plus drops of level 60 gear transmutes back into the game? The code must already exist, and it would add some more diversity to the random runs. More options means a less trivial…

  • Anyway, doesn’t matter anymore. A buddy figured out how we make the same every day in less time. So bring it on. ^^
  • > @unbarb said: > DO NOT LIMIT AN ACCOUNT TO 100K REFINEMENT PER DAY. That is unacceptable. That is a DESTRUCTIVE NERF. I'm already refining 288,000K a day on my account. 8 toons times 36K a day equals 288,000 a day. DON'T DO IT, and please don't treat us like fools and advertise it like some kind of benefit to players. It…

  • @"noworries#8859" How would this go? (Not great at math or foreseeing economy changes). My logic says that removing preservation and coal wards from the zen shop but adding it to the wonderous bazaar, would create a big ad sink. It is the primary thing people buy with zen I would think. Or am I missing something?
  • > @ambisinisterr said: > I'm looking through the feedback here and I am seeing a lot of mixed results. Unfortunately the mixed results in my opinion seem to boil down to the amount of knowledge people have about economics and what they feel like this change was intended to do. > > Let's start with how this will effect…
  • > @dagambit said: > Sounds like another quick cash grab by Cryptic, another way to get players to buy Zen. Oh well with all the crying of how players will leave no one will go anywhere and the devs know it. We can complain, complain, and complain but still play the game. Cryptic will continue to make changes to AD until it…
  • I find it funny that so many people support this because “it will only” affect people who run an army of toons each day. I run 7 toons a day and it takes me 2-3 hours. That is how I chose to spend my time, and have paid for the privilege to earn 256k ad per day, through buying character slots and grinding the randoms. On…
  • This right here is a game killer. If you follow through with this, I will for one stop playing. And I know several long term players who will do the same. We don’t have bot issues on consoles. You can’t progress this game without AD. It’s just not possible. In other mmos you get rewarded with gear and upgrades through…
  • > @kreatyve said: > The event changed when they did the refinement change. They have now just updated the name of the event to better reflect what doubles. Thank you very much for the clarification and quick reply.
  • See this brings up another issue that I find puzzling. They started mod12 by saying that the bonding stones were too powerful, and needed to be fixed. (Notice their word of choice). Apparently they have always been broken, but I guess Cryptic just got around to "fixing" them now... Anyway, they nerf... oh, sorry, fix the…
  • Thank you all for your replies, and making it through all that text. It became longer than original intended. The answers from @kreatyve did also seem like misdirection or deflection to me. And some of it was just plain random. But in any case, I once again apologies for mixing up the various companies involved. But…
  • > @kreatyve said: > First off, know your audience. "Arc Developers" are not the developers of the game. You are challenging the wrong company there. Arc is made by PWE, the company that publishes Neverwinter, but does nothing with the game development. That would be Cryptic. 2nd of all, there is a thread here regarding the…
