  • Thanks for your comments; I asked for the original discussion to be merged with this one in case you were wondering where it went! The "Weapons/armor" label was a typo; it's been changed to "Weapons (Main/Offhand)." The existing "Refinement Items Only" filter and "Refinement" bag preference really ought to be "Enchantments…
  • "The Party Looting Fly-in checkbox is unchecked for me and does not toggle when clicked." That is *not* working as intended; I think it's related to the default problem. Looking into that too!
  • I'm glad that was the issue! That notifications setting control panel was a relatively recent addition (June 2019, which seems like only yesterday!) mainly to let people customize their chat a bit better. I'm very sorry your defaults weren't correct and I'll see if I can figure out how that happened. Happy gaming!
  • Hi, sorry that you're having trouble with this! Can I ask you to check one more thing? If you press Esc to get to the game menu, there should be an option (the third one IIRC) called "Notification Settings". Could you choose that, and then see what your checkbox values are for "party feedback" and "party looting"?
  • What resolution and UI scale you're using, if you don't mind me asking?
  • Fashion items now need to be converted to Appearance Library items to be worn. We automatically convert any fashion items that you are wearing, and also all fashion items that are "bound to character" in your inventory. We wanted you to be able to wear your fashion items right away, and not have to convert them all to…
  • Yes, we're aware of the problems with some of the colour packs. It's our intention that you'll be able to unlock all of the Color Library with existing in-game items. Some errors crept in to the process of redefining all the dye items and colours, and we're working on fixing them. I'm not sure where you're getting the idea…
  • OK, here some features that I've gleaned from reading this forum, that we'll consider for a future update of the Appearance system. I'm sure more will come up as you use the system more intensively. 1) A separate loadout system for appearances so that you can quickly change between predefined looks without having to change…
  • I believe what arcanjo86 meant was, that if you have an item that has a colour you cannot reproduce in the new system, don't override its slot's colours in the new Appearance window. Then it will still show its original colours. You just cannot make anything else that colour. Right now, no, the missing colours cannot be…
  • I'm not clear what you're asking for, sorry. Are you asking specifically about the "Doohickey" from the Wonders of Gond event? That does add a visual effect to your character, but it doesn't change you to wearing fashion. In general, though, if you don't want to wear a fashion outfit, don't click on the purple mask and…
  • If you already have one or two of the colours in a pack, then the remaining two or one should still unlock. You should only see the "This color already exists in the Color Library" tooltip if all three colours are already unlocked. So what you're describing is definitely a bug. Which dye packs were you using?
  • I'm sorry you find it clunky. When we redefined and harmonized all the dye colours to give a better palette, though, we made several dye packs give some of the same colours. There's no longer a one-to-one relationship with the library colours and the dye packs and in fact the library colours don't actually know (in a…
  • I just tested this and the wedding fashion items seem to work for me. Your fashion look is a different set of slots from your gear slots (just like it was before) so you have to change to your fashion slots by clicking the little purple mask icon to the lower right of the fashion paperdoll (just like you did before). Once…
  • Ah, that's an excellent point. Thanks!
  • Hey everyone! Thanks for your comments and I'm glad that you like the new system! I'll try and get all the responses in one huge post here. By the way, when I say "next week" in the rest of this, you should read it to mean "next week, God willing and the creek don't rise." I don't want to unilaterally commit our…
  • Thanks, trgluestickz! Those names are painfully small, aren't they? Without getting too boring, because those overhead names are drawn in the world (attached to the entities) instead of in the normal UI hierarchy, they're not inheriting the UI scale value. So fixing it involves poking around with sharp sticks in a…
  • OK, thanks to everyone who gave me screenshots; that really helped. Fixes should be going in Real Soon Now (tm) for these things: 1) The top selection indicator in Collections 2) The Change Instance window 3) The Chult, Dread Ring, Underdark and Portobello campaigns We're working on the problem with the dungeon results…
  • Thanks for mentioning this. Could you be more specific about the problems that you're seeing? Screenshots would be ideal, if you could.
  • Well, once we add multiple mains you will just be able to mark your mains as "main" and sort the rest of your characters by level... ETA: Oh, you mean sort within the "level 70" group? Right now the secondary sort is alphabetical, so all your level 70 characters ought to be sorted alphabetically by name. I didn't think of…
  • Do you mean having multiple mains? That is something we're working on.
  • Hey, sorry for the delay in responding here. 1) The "ordering by name" is alphabetical, not numerical. Numbers are treated as their alphabetical value, not their numerical value (this is pretty standard). So if you sort "Apple1, Apple2, Apple100, Apple12" alphabetically, you'll get "Apple1, Apple100, Apple12, Apple2" just…
  • At the character selection screen, we don't have the complete information on each character, so we picked the low hanging fruit and initially added "sort by" options only for the information we already have. But I'll investigate sorting by item level. The initial redesign of the character selection screen did include an…
  • Glad you like it! We'll consider having multiple mains; we weren't sure if having more than one would be useful to people or just confusing.
  • Ah, I forgot to mention that the next two upcoming multi-day events are also shown in the new Home page, in its normal form. Check it out!
  • OK, folks, we really do listen to you and read your posts. We've redesigned how the fashion bag works as a direct result of your comments on this thread. While it's still the case that only fashion items can go into this new bag, fashion items will *ALSO* be able to go into your regular inventory. When you get a new…
  • I should clarify something. Boxes that contain fashion items, like the ones you buy from the Tradebar store, will go to your regular inventory (here's a way to tell; if the tooltip for the item says something like "This box contains..." then the item will go into your regular inventory). It's only when you open the box…
  • Great catch; the Dread Ring daily event descriptions in the "Schedule" button on the campaign window don't match the descriptions that you get when you click the event banner under the minimap. It looks like the event descriptions are the obsolete ones. I'll make sure the content folks know about this.
  • Thanks for the reminder; you're absolutely right that a simple scrollbar isn't the best solution for list of a squillion things. The History tab is on the list of interfaces to re-examine, of course (it's a bit like painting the Golden Gate bridge; once you reach the far end, it's time to start again) so I'll make sure the…
  • So just to clarify, in the above screenshot, you're unable to press the B button and close the popup?
