If classes weren't so severely unbalanced for multiple years pvp would still be alive. But no barbarians, sws and others during that time were dumpster fires in end game pvp most of this games life cycle.
Barbarian needs way more stamina re gen in domination and should do more burst damage then a fighter with a shield.. Which makes no sense as it is. Deflect needs to be fixed. Rogue encounters need a buff slightly. All companion bonuses (item level included) should be removed from all pvp once you are flagged up or in a pvp…

Almost all of the feats are complete trash except for the last one for increased rage generation. And all but trample the fallen is a complete waste of time. Especially for PvP.

The reason fighters and hrs do so much damage is because of the broken interaction between accuracy and deflect severity. Since they have accuracy as their forte and pop watermelon sorbet... It makes them DO MORE DAMAGE when you deflect their attack which us really stupid. But yes Gfs get way too much so gain from taking…
While I agree with you if they become to powerful they will also be over powered because at any time they can just spec offensively and use defensive cooldowns to be tanky. Imagine a fully offensive barb with unstoppable on the tank path. Getting 40% block everytime they popped unstoppable with great damage.
I want to see a new iwd campaign with pve and pve in one zone with a world boss in it that drops expensive items and rewards.. Imagine fighting for a world boss against another faction.
Nerf the 3k mount damage power to 750 magnitude and half the healing mount.. If you do that and fix the broken accuracy to deflect severity interaction you'll have a really balanced game.
3k mount power, sw daily damage, mirage weapons and accuracy/ deflect severity needs to be fixed first. Thats 75% of the reason people are specced so tanky. I have a feeling just doing that would solve most of the issues.
Counter stats should only counter opposing stats.. Not provide additional benefits after that. You can't balance the classes or pvp in general until we have at least that.
To be honest they have to fix deflect severity so it actually works and mount 3k hits first. Its really annoying to be pretty much a tank and walk up to a node and everyone just throws them out to kill you.
Totally agree with you. Mirage weapons are completely overpowered in every way. That plus toads hitting ppl for like 400k has got to change if they care about the future of PvP at all. -Trent the barbarian.
Some specs can barely even pvp. Barbs need alot more stamina and battlefury needs its old functionality back so we can actually use our immunity frames from sprint. Until then most of us wont play

Keep destroying the player base cryptic.. Before you know it even less classes will bother pvping... Then no one will because they can't find a game. Pretty close to happening as it is.
How to fix pvp: Completely revamp barbarian class and actually give us a proper mechanical dodge mechanic. Stop giving hunters bonus damage vs players that are control immune. Lower fighter combo potential somehow. There's no way they should just be able to turtle all day in a 1v1 then one rotate people with max defense.…
Barbs need like 20% more damage.. Fighters shouldn't be one rotating maxed out defense spcced barbarians lol. C'mon man. And it's about time hunters stop getting bonus damage against barbarians while we're unstoppable thats our only real damage mitigation. It's really not fair.

My only problem with the game is that hrs and trs are far too tanky for a dps class in pvp. They can literally fight 2 or 3 people with their dodge mechanics alone. That and dps fighters hit too hard. Other then that all the other classes seem evenly matched.

Which is the point.. Bear totem or wolf totem would be sick for tank or team buffing and zealot barbarian would be far better then blademaster and would,do a ton more damage. Besides at least we wouldn't basically be a bad fighter like we are now.
