At the moment it seems that the recommendation is based only on the monetary value of the item - so higher level or quality items are always recommended over lower even if the lower is superior.

This bug has reappeared today, it is happening on Android and Windows browsers. Selected resources will not appear in the window and the task can't be started.

Have you been using your Founder companion to level? Keep in mind that during the Beta Weekends you couldn't start with a companion, and the companion definitely makes leveling easier.

I have tried this three times now, and I get to the underground area OK but there is nothing there. What am I missing?

Same here - dropping and retaking the quest does NOT fix it, so I can't progress any further. Please fix this ASAP.
