I found it odd that the silence will stop you from doing physical sword swings. Should be limited to prevent "spell" like powers. I can't even raise my shield to block when silenced. I'll deal with it because that's the mechanic but it does seem counter intuitive.
I would argue that in DND you are always in PVP fights. Not with your own team of course, but all those monsters you fight are controlled by the DM, a real live intelligent person who can pull some nasty surprises you don't expect out of his/her bag.
I've been playing as a tank and the aggro is pretty crazy. There's no good way to grab add aggro on the long term. We do have an AOE taunt but it's a pretty small radius and only lasts a few seconds. It certainly makes the game more exciting for me to try and keep all the aggro but I pity the healers...
When you hit certain levels you get two stat points and can only distribute a max of 1 per attribute. So you will usually put 1 to the primary and one towards a secondary of your choice.
I'm actually really confused about the accepted etiquette in this game. Obviously if I can't use and item I greed it but what about unidentified items I can equip? Is it acceptable to need those since they may be better or is it generally accepted to only greed them?
I'm sure if they have the AD to power level they have the AD for some mediocre end game gear... or they could just farm some gear for an hour or two. That said, it seems counter productive to be that high of a level this early. You'd have some difficulty finding groups for the instances I would think.
Seems like the intend more weapons as some people had other types of weapons drop (axes for rogues for example) but they were fairly rare. Just seems like itemization is at the early stages atm
