An XP disabler would have been a great feature at launch. It's kind of silly that it still isn't here given how common it is in other MMOs. I remember seeing tons of complaints about players leveling so fast they out-leveled content back when there was more activity here.
I think there's definitely some truth to this. It's one thing to discourage trolling but it's entirely another to stifle any discussion critical of the game just because the forum rules allow you to be a dictator. The whole thread moving/locking is way out of hand. Shuttering every topic you don't like is folly and I doubt…
Professions in Neverwinter exist primarily so PWE can fleece the most obsessive crafters for Zen purchases. Without the best Tools, the only profession worth anything is Leadership, and the only way to get the best Tools is to spend HAMSTER loads of AD or Zen.
Hmmm ..... yeah, I don't think so. Even with the shortage of tanks/healers, the queue times should still be shorter overall. A lack of tanks/healers may still cause delays but proportional to a larger number of people queueing, so the wait times will likely be reduced.
Well, it's 500 Zen that I already have in my wallet which I'd set aside to purchase a couple more character slots. If I didn't spend it on that I'd have spent it on something else but I think the extra character slots are going to give me the best value for that Zen. As far as speculation on the shorter queue times, we're…
VERY happy to hear about this. Now I can buy additional character slots and know the queues for skirmishes and dungeon delves on the way up to 60 won't be quite as long!
Ha! Actually, I'm glad to hear that. I tried for days to get into that skirmish with my alt and eventually invoked myself over the level cap because I didn't want to sacrifice the Celestial Coins.
Yes, this does seem to be the norm, and is usually what I end up doing, with occasional exceptions depending what the trends are with the group I 'm in.
I figured out early on that you should always use your Celestial Coins for the Wonderous Augmentation packs (which cost the max of 7 coins). In the Augmentation pack, you have a small chance at getting a Coalescent Ward, which is a necessity for Enchanting your gear with Armor/Weapon Enchantments. Nothing you'll get in the…
Yes, they really need to say something about this one way or the other. I'm holding off on spending 500 Zen for 2 extra character slots until after the server merge because I don't want to deal with the ridiculously long queue times for skirmishes and dungeon delves on the way to level 60.
