not so much a dungeon but one of the deadliest encounters I've had in a while we had a cart full of explosives that went up because of enemies throwing stuff at us while I was too close to be safe from it.
I would like to see the game roll around having real interaction without the need for henchmen. maybe a squire, and lots of swooning women, but not henchmen.
I will say that my join date is incorrect, i had signed up for news and updates and the random beta LONG before I posted on the forum which somehow changed the community "Join date" to my first forum post. I don't think join date would be fair, but I would like to see it give slightly better odds if you've played the other…
Aww, I've already got a code I was hoping i could put in 2 to get both mounts. I am still planning on buying the other covers though. Edit: Sorry, i didn't read the part about not posting if you aren't actually entering, feel free to delete this post.
Of the casters sorcerers are my favorite, I've never been a big fan of the studious wizard ever searching for power from dusty tomes. I'd rather rip it out of the air and swell with the power born into me.
When I played a pixie we managed to stop a group of marauding worms from destroying a town (since pixies can speak to all animals) then "take a quest" from them to kill a band of orcs that had been forcing them to do it.
I'd like to hear more stories...ENTERTAIN ME!!! ok ok breathe in ... breathe out So I'll tell another but this one is shorter than my others It was later in 3.5 and I'd played a swashbuckler, my favorite class, for a few short games and had been heavily combat oriented. One of my friends said I only played it because…
I hope race plays into more than just stats. Things like how people interact with you and say as well as additional objectives or quests. I'm about to start a PnP 3e game where my Tiefling warlock/blackguard is trying to resurrect Bael Turath through any means necessary. Its starting at lvl 15 and grew up a slave in a…
The mounts and covers are all amazing. I'm glad we'll have mounts since i don't think it was mentioned for sure that we would although i may have just missed it. I don't read magazines often anymore but i want all 4 covers, I'll probably have them framed lol. I do want both mounts so out of 4 I should get them. Also since…
I played alot of NWN and did some building and such but didn't go so far as to publish most of it despite coming up with some really interesting scripts. We haven't heard anything about what code will be available in the foundry yet, only a few tidbits here and there in interviews like the ability to make playable mods…
I know but halflings in dnd have always had riding dogs without the need to specialize for it. I mean i'm not asking for talenta raptor mounts or anything...hmmm
I prefer my pathfinder remain on PnP, it could work but my money will be on Neverwinter. A 2016 release is 3 years down the road though and a lot can happen. *crosses fingers for Neverwinter*
I started off DnD as an elf player, mostly due to books and movies and things which glorified them in ways that actual dnd doesn't. I soon found out that all of the things I thought I liked were actually halfling traits. When I got to DDO I made a halfling wind monk, lets just say you can try to hit me.
halflings are more iconic than dragonborn, especially in forgotten realms setting. edit: they may be out later as p2p race, never count that possibility out.
An orc army is marching across the land when they see a dwarf on top of a hill give the Commander the bird. The orc orders two of his soldiers to kill the dwarf. The dwarf runs away down the back of the hill and the soldiers follow. A few quick thumps later and the dwarf comes back up the hill, yelling obscenities at the…
A dwarf walks into a bar and orders three pints of ale, and takes them back to a table where he sits alone, sipping them one by one. After he finishes them all, he returns for a refill. "You know," the bartender says, "they go flat fairly soon after I pour them. If you order them one at a time, the flavor will be better."…
An elf walks into a tavern, bets 500gp no one can drink 10 dwarven ales in a row. The tavern patrons fall silent, one dwarf even gets up and leaves. Half an hour later he comes back and asks the elf: "Does yer offer still stand?" "Aye", says the elf and orders the drinks. Sure enough, the dwarf downs them all in rapid…
It would probably be something along the lines of what Felicia Day said, the moment your character becomes famous it dies to you. Everyone wants to be them. She can't make her character on any game on any server she doesn't already play on because its always taken.
As to the volcano mentioned on the About section here the only other references I could find are in 4e FR Campaign Guide which says "Port cities north of Waterdeep didn’t fare well in the years after the Spellplague; both Neverwinter and Luskan are now in utter ruin." Its been ~25 years since then which could've given them…
