Any character who did the event last year cannot receive the "Red Envelopes" quest from Tashi Shulun, thus cannot got any Rat coins.

This is from the Hunts tutorial mission. I had this on an Alt character and didn’t clear until I went back into a Hunt and clicked on it from the map in there. Was very annoying.

Agreed that the drop rates need to be increased. Haarl’s is available from the campaign store for 5k AD + currencies iirc.

Although you cannot see the timer, all Epic HEs in Chult and Barovia spawn 1hr after last completed or failed

I was looking forward to this event as I wasn't playing when these dungeons were first around but quickly was disappointed with the grind. 12 of 14 days required to max 4 artifacts with 3 of those days being bugged Dread Vault clearly proves that this Retelling was only put on to force Zen purchases of so called "buyout".

I think the AD cost to upgrade is fine how it is but they need to make the companion tokens the identical cost ratio. Major Heroics was fixed a few patches ago. Completing Tier 2 Heroics in Strongholds does the trick.

I only completed the quest 23 times and received the reward. The one thing I did find strange was that the email with reward only showed up on the 1st character I logged on after event. All other characters could not claim. Look back at whichever character you may have logged on as.

Not 100% but that might be the reason. I had an Epic Mask rank 88 or so from last year that I couldn't refine. It said it needed negative ~1mil refinement to cap. I sadly dropped it and started over and have had no issues.

Are you using your mask from a previous year's event or a fresh one picked up yesterday/today?
