maybe not everyone who has made those is aware of them being not allowed, maybe if the person who can delete the quests can also send a message to the authors to make sure they know it's now allowed? also, please, don't allow short quests to count for achievements, 15 for the ex daily was a great way to measure them.
I don't want to generalize all of NW's playerbase, but like I said before I think most players in here do not really care much for stories or lore, and tend to care more about rewards and item levels; specially comparing them to other MMO's playerbases. It's never too late to try to encourage those who do care about…
definitely better than nothing. and yeah, fast review quests are basically "interact with x asset in protector's enclave" and you're done. they're quests that take literally 5 secs to complete and are used just to get fast foundry achievements. (both as a player and author). there are tons of these and it's not hard to…
I've always thought they should make all RP bta and greatly reduce the cost needed for upgrading equipment. but probably would cause a huge ruckus on the forums. (and the game)
I haven't played a CW in like ages, didn't they supposedly melt enemy groups in seconds always? I remember people bringing like 3 of them for dungeons before. Has it changed that much now?
maybe because farm quests are used to get items at a rate that we shouldn't get, and quick review quests only make it so people get quicker achievements that don't really make the game unbalanced. (just a guess though)
I partially agree ambi, it's true that everyone cares about character progression in MMOs, but there are also different types of players, some care more about stories, other care more about being BiS, other care more about PvP, etc... there are many different archetypes of players and reasons why they enjoy those things.…
I think foundries should help progression too, at a slower rate than the main game, but not 0% progression as it is now. So people can then choose to do boring repeated content for faster results, or slow things down a bit with the foundry to experience new places and stories, but with a slower progression.
I agree with the AD change being necessary, things were horrible before that. Although it was also needed to make more changes in AD costs for everything, and we are still waiting for that (boons among others). I hope we'll get those soon.
Oh I would LOVE for NW to become more story and lore oriented, I'd really love it. But I think actions speak louder than words and the actions I've seen from Cryptic have shown little to none interest into making the game more story oriented. We did get the salvatore quests, which were pretty nice, but besides those and…
I probably exagerated, they don't enjoy it, but they endure it to get what they want (shinies) but compare the playerbase to other MMOs, it's just a matter of going to tumblr or other social sharing medias and comparing the posts to other MMOs, if I search for other MMOs, I'll find lots of character drawings, screenshots…
i think it's mainly because of the grindy nature of the main game, only people who enjoy doing repeptitive acts to get their shines seem to form most of the playerbase, NW has never been a lore heavy game like other MMOs, so those lore interested people, who would enjoy the foundry the most, have been basically chased away…
I don't think we're asking for a dedicated person for the foundry (although that would be awesome). If they would just fix the teleporter bug and add some kind of reward to quests so people can earn anything other than "having a good time" things would be infinitely better. what about boa tokens that could be traded for…
I'd love anything that can make it closer to DnD and help bring immersion too, class halls, housing, more cities, etc... I don't really see it happening though.
"Astral Diamond costs to transmute items have been reduced - more information in a blog to be posted tomorrow morning" <3 I really hope they have significatively cheaper prices now.
people, please stop asking for cryptic to not have new content and fix bugs instead. They are two completely unrelated things and people who work on those 2 things are different teams. Also Wotc decides on times and cryptic has to adapt to it, cryptic cant just go "hey, we won't have any more new content untill we fix the…
maybe Wotc decided that it would be better for them to give Cryptic some more time to deliver a better module? we can always hope so, but I've learned to avoid optimism in here...
