  • Yeah, stopping Divinity gain from Brand of the Sun in Divine mode is a flat out nerf. Please reconsider this. It is really useful and makes divinity use much smoother once you get used to it. The only people I've ever seen complain about it are people who don't even really play DO, they are just dabbling in it.
  • I've been moderated a handful of times, but even when I find it annoying, I get it. Heck, sometimes I'm glad things get shut down before I *really* get myself into trouble! Something I always try to keep in mind is: "Moderation is the price we pay for a civilized internet."
  • Yeah, that was one of my recommendations for it: 2,000 Life Steal, 2,000 Life Steal Severity for Swarm, with 1,000/1,000 for the Mist Form.
  • Yeah, I know you have to always be careful what you ask for with them, but the idea is the damage stays right where it is, we can just slot an additional passive instead of the whole core feature of SS having to live in our hotbar.
  • I'm sure it's too late to implement at this point, but it could really help SS a lot to make Storm Spell a core class mechanic (could call it 'Shock') like Smolder instead of a passive. This would allow SS to slot Chilling Presence AND Arcane Presence, Evocation, etc. The Storm Spell passive could also be changed to…
  • Burying DO wouldn't have even been relevant if they would do the right thing and change buffs to additive to get rid of the 4-support meta.
  • I'd also like to see Relentless Avenger just knock foes down instead of launching them everywhere. Keeping a tiny bit of knockback, like a couple feet, would be ok for appearances, but it's a great power that has always been completely unusable in group content.
  • No, it's not a bug, just a good old fashion mistake. We kicked and screamed on preview that it was a completely useless equip power before it was released, but they went ahead with it. The Mist Form mount has 2,000 LSS. The diminishing returns make the Swarm add like 1% more LSS over the Mist Form. You're effectively…
  • Exactly this. Any and all drops from Utility enchants should go directly into inventory.
  • I guess "common folk" can't handle the awesomeness of Tieflings... Seriously though, Dwarves, Dragonborn, and Tieflings are my 3 favorites. ;) To the OP, character race has such a small impact on overall performance, just play what seems cool to you.
  • Um, whoa, ok, wow... That is a LOT to digest and it's kinda hard to see which end is up. With such a large flat damage boost, especially for cold powers, it *seems* like it'd have to be an overall boost. It was silly for Opp to be the DPS path, but unless the general damage boosts alone are enough to make us first-rate…
  • Wow, DO is going back on the trash heap. Since AC requires high gear, I guess Clerics are going to have to face the same "you must be at least 17k to ride" HAMSTER DPS has been dealing with for the last year. On one hand, I still know how to play AC from the last time DO were garbage (even though I greatly prefer DO), but…
  • The damage increase, reduced animation times, and Aura of Solitude not counting companions makes running my OP alt through mods 10+ sound MUCH more appealing. I was thinking about raising that one as my next project, if I ever got the motivation to slog through it. Interesting.
  • Umm, yes, yes, yes, and yes!! I do have an overall question though: What classifies as "general loot"? Are ID scrolls auto pickup? RP stones? Green gear?
  • I just had a deceptively simple idea for improving SS damage. For MoFs, Smolder isn't a passive, it's a core class feature. The devs have expressed concern about a passive (Storm Spell) being responsible for so much damage. That's fine, make Storm Spell a core class feature for SS just like Smolder is for MoF! Could also…
  • Sounds like someone has a couch mimic...
  • This is one of the wisest things said in this entire thread. Trying to set things somewhere in the middle though would probably just leave everyone unhappy. This is why I feel the two best solutions are to either: - Create different difficulty tiers: add 'normal' for the first group, 'legendary' for the second group, and…
  • The random queue system and its AD rewards certainly exacerbate these kind of issues (perceived or otherwise), but if there was no RQ system or AD rewards, FBI instances would probably only occur a handful of times each day across the whole server. Is that any better? The same logic went into getting rid of AD rewards for…
  • A couple things I wouldn't mind seeing: - The Oppressor capstone giving a small chance to bypass control immunity, even if it's just a 5-10% chance. - Move the Chilling Presence damage bonus against frozen targets to targets with 6 chill stacks. It would make Chilling Presence even more mandatory (if such a thing is…
  • I have to give this all the yes I have to give! Evernight was so awesome, I really hope we get to see it again! I also hope we can have access to it on a longer term basis, instead of it just being a one-time thing or skirmish or something. I keep one character from finishing that story arc so I have the ability to go back.
  • I don't think account-based professions is a good idea at all, but account-based resources and assets would be nice. Every character would share the same universal pool of tools and materials instead of them being divided amongst each character. To go along with that, making assets stack would be nice.
  • Never been called a bot, but a long time ago in pvp I got called "P2W" by someone with better gear than me (!) after I one-rotated them from a catwalk. ;)
  • So how does adding a N version of a dungeon that is MECHANICALLY IDENTICAL, but with a bit lower HP, DR, and damage take anything away from anyone? You mean like how nDemo took away from people running mDemo back in Mod 8? Oh wait, that's right, it didn't. You must be talking about how nSVA took away from folks running…
  • It might be helpful to describe what an /assist command is and what it would do.
  • That's easy, Dr. Pepper! Err, Dr. Lathander. Seriously though, use whichever you completed last.
  • No need to be aggressive. It doesn't matter in any way, shape, or form how *I* would make it 'better', they don't give a hamster's HAMSTER what I think. 'Bigger' was my primary thought, but I don't have to explain anything, I'm just speculating. As for 'better IMO', things I could imagine: - Infinitely growing storage…
  • Well, we got the last class after they introduced a low level campaign (Mod 4-5). Maybe we'll finally get our new class in Mod 16 then?
  • They should have a "Reset Campaign" button on both DotDM campaigns that can be used once per event so we can replay them and get the rewards again. It's a bit late for that atm, but should be looked at regardless. As is, there is never any reason to do the event more than once on the same character EVER. Otherwise, they…
  • I was thinking about the "Workshop". Part of that could be a separate storage space for profession resources/assets similar to the mount stable and the companion list change. They're always running up against space in the bags, it would be nice to have a better resource/asset setup.
