It's a static 1/2/3% increase to healing. Every class has a feat like this. The bonus is entirely unrelated to the associated stat, it basically just tacks the bonus on to whatever Wisdom provides normally.
You're a human. You get extra heroic feats (ie not paragon). You start getting paragon feat points at level 30, which can only be spent in the paragon trees.
Why is there a discussion about Str vs. Dex? Unless Cha is also better than Dex, you'll take Str and Dex at every opportunity, right? This would only matter during character creation, and the difference is going to be pretty small either way.
Lance does more damage than Sacred Flame, so I usually use that when I'm soloing. I switch to SF when in a group, though. It might depend on how many points you've spent in each, though. Astral Seal is too useful to ever take off the bar.
Think of sacred flame as damage reduction. Temporary hitpoints are like a shield. If a player has 100 temp HP, the next mob that hits them has to eat through that 100hp first. So a 200hp hit is reduced to 100hp.
Look, Envy and Rokuthy are both phenomenal GF's. They've both discovered that being a DPS GF is a great way to be an asset to your group. But I think perhaps we can all agree that if playing a Guardian Fighter as a DPS is the only way to be viable, then something is wrong. The tank class should be able to contribute by…
Oh, I wasn't implying it was an exploit. I was just joking that to the dismay of us all, they'd fix the bug with cleric threat, but in the wrong direction.
Everyone saying to just run with people you know: This is not a solution to the problem. Sure, you don't have to worry about it anymore, but the general public still does. If you're under the impression that you and your guild can financially support the entire game yourselves, you're mistaken. Here's the thing: you agree…
There is a 15/15/13 with 12 in INT for another 2% recovery. So you'd give up 1% crit for 3% recovery and 1% AP gain. You also get +1 CON for another 2% HP as well.
It's not that big of a deal. People are worrying way too much about ending up with a bad spec. Even if you randomly selected every power, you still wouldn't end up with a broken character. You almost get enough points to take absolutely everything. You can easily have every skill at rank 2. Your character isn't going to be…
What MMOs have this? I've never seen an MMO where you can turn off other players. Kinda defeats the whole MMO thing. You can turn off their nameplates, if that's what you want. It's in Interface options, under hud.
Agreed. For a game without a free cursor, being able to get essential information without mouse over is vital. Duration text should be standard at this point, at least as an option.
Neverwinter does not use DnD mechanics for hitting. I believe your AC contributes to damage reduction. Many feats do not currently show their effects on your character sheet, so I wouldn't worry too much about that right now.
Don't just glance at the queue numbers. They fluctuate from what I presume is your actual queue position and a number much, much higher than that. But the lower number seems to steadily decline. Slowly.
The potential arrays are actually a set of point-buy arrays, to keep everyone balanced. The illusion serves a few purposes: One, it lowers the point of entry for players new to DnD. Literally any stat array the game allows you to take is reasonable, so players who "guess wrong" aren't gimped. Two, it simplifies the…
I expect to see the Protecting Paladin first, because the game needs more than one tank class. My guess is the Tab ability will be Divine Challenge to match the GF's Mark. I wouldn't expect that the Avenging Paladin would be too far behind. I think they'll use a 2H Mace.
Yeah, I don't get this call. I mean, if they wanted to reset them to clear them of beta information that's one thing, but removing them? One board for all the class discussion is going to get cluttered really quickly (not to mention it also includes gameplay and combat discussion).
