Ok, so a timer for purchased stuff. I am not against this, would like to see the same thing on most stuff that is BtC or BtA. https://www.arcgames.com/en/games/neverwinter/news/detail/11102103
Its going to take more then just barovia and seals gear to get to 16K... a lot more. I have most of my campaign boons and have Barovia gear with some Chult stuff and just at 14K. Frankly its the enchants and such that cost so much AD to raise. You either need to grind away for years or spend way too much money to get those…
They were a playable class in D&D 3.5, not sure about v5. Tieflings were at one point considered "monsters" but then accepted as standard player races. And of course Dragon Born are just a poor man's Dragonlance Draconians.
I think it was also mentioned with the second to the last Driftwood Tavern. That they did not want to intro a new class until they got all the rework for the current classes done. I might be wrong on that but I remember hearing it somewhere.
I agree with this. Events should bring the community together, not create divisions, clique, etc. There will always be the hardest content but like mithrosnomore said, it will always be there as a goal to achieve.
If you are having true disconnect issues then you need to figure out what is wrong with your system, your connection, for the game environment might be unstable at that time. Some content is buggy like Tales of Old with lots of disconnects. What I would like to see is a create a queue system where anyone can create a party…
I am taking a wait and see on this. One of the problems is that they waited so long to raise the cap that the vast majority of stuff people use is all LV 70 so when they raise the cap, all of the hundreds of stuff at that level becomes almost worthless. I mentioned in another post that if I were raising a new toon, I would…
My biggest grip with the wording is the "Weasel Word" used through out powers and feats and such and that work is "chance". WTF... just say what the percent is, just freakn tell us already! I hate HAMSTER like that!
But that is the rub... it may change but will it change for something that your character actually needs? And since it is BtC you are stuck with it or will have to spend AD/Zen for something that makes better use for that new build with Mod16. Last year the devs mentioned with Mod 15 that part of their intended…
I have been holding on to guild resources, may not even turn in for this next round coming up, as most are expecting a level cap increased sometime this year.
Waiting to see whats, what on preview. Figure the % of players who are on the forums and know this is coming is small and the % that actually go onto preview to figure out just how this will work is even smaller still. Its like legal insider trading, will start my stock market speculations after that.
Yeah, I was spamming that question so he might have been answering one of my posts. He used what we call in the office "weasel words". But the gist I got was all the 70 (junk) will be left the same because you will need it in Undermountain.... for about 5 min till you pick up something better off the floor that is higher…
I hope they have some better drops for fashions like these and increase the fashions and fix them so you can choose to make your weapons and doohickeys and such visible. I know some weapons like bows melt into the fashions like the ball dress but let the play decided if it works or not. But getting back to the hat, why is…
I have actually suggested a Baldur's Gate type of campaigns and play style several times. You create a city or landscape, you populate with gangs and groups, and threads of activity that is affected by your actions and the landscape will change as you interface with it. You have reputation that is affected by your actions…
The problem with a Druid is the CW and HR kinda took some of the powers like call lighting, storm, and thorns and such. I guess they can summon common animals or insects or turn into a bear or something but... why? These are not high DPS, buffing is being nerfed, and control is dead. Same with a Bard, what exactly are you…
At this point I wouldn't even mind a kobolt. I am not the biggest fan of the HoF campaign but the Kobold in the document quest is pretty funny and makes me want to run one. This is just a small version of a Tiefling and Dragonborn, aka with a tail and a odd head. Modding down outfits should not be too hard.
Sending my Paladin and Warlock over tonight. I am a bit worried about the pally and the mega nerf with shield he is taking. The Warlock, I want to see how they are replacing lifesteal.
I don't want to seem all stodgy and unable to accept change and such. I like change, if it is change for the better. I just don't see anything wrong with the old boon system. Each campaign has its own flavor and anytime you have unassigned points, the toolbar glows and you just find the campaign that needs allotment. I…
I suggest you watch the last driftwood tavern twitich.... we got a spoiler that a new race and/or class is coming this year. As others have said and because of the Tales of Old bard I have a suspicion that it with be both of those. Frankly I find both lack luster and uninteresting. Especially a bard. No one really explains…
They really should just have an enchant swap for any enchant affected by the changes. Frankly they should bring back gear salvage, at least for a month.
Just did Illusionist G the other day with only 3 players. Did not have anyone drop that I could see, just the 3 of us the whole time. One of the heros tried to vote to stay after the first round O_o
People come and go in any MMO. Plenty of 20LV guilds that are half full. My guild regularly clears the roles of inactive players all the time. Are you complaining because you want to own a guild or be a high ranking officer? What other reason to want to build one from scratch, its thankless grinding.
You could also grind for extra power points so that effort will evaporate. They really should have some way to cash those in but with the recent example of the professions change I would expect any exchange to be HAMSTER.
The Ravenloft campaign was one of the better campaigns to come out. Forget about vamps, you really only deal with them occasionally during the campaign and then at the end for the epic dungeon. You are mostly battling werewolf lycanthropies, witches and their minions, nature demi-gods, etc. The night/day cycle is cool.…
Frankly you are better off just going on the AD market and buying weapons being dropped in Chult as the weapons bonuses are better. As far as gear, buy your four pieces on the AD market being dropped in Barovia and fill in the gaps with the free stuff from the intro to that campaign, you will also get a bunch of Rank 8…
Cryptic licenses the IP from Wizards of the Coast, they are not a subsidiary. So, yes, they have to at least break even if not make a profit. Perfect World also is coding other WotC IPs like Magic the Gathering so they might lump both in a pool as far as profits.
