Yes we do! Ive done some runs and while my damage seems a bit lower (Im getting less of the OMGCRITPROCCRITPROCCRITPROC feedback loops of massive damage) im still doing very good damage. Our single target damage is basically the same (a bit lower), while our AoE has been hit a little- atleast thats how it feels.
Yeah i felt bad, im not even super well geared or anything but i was killing them and a 'Bow' specced HR over and over by myself as i stood on a node- as a CW. I just cringed.
and omigod so many people that think their class is played the same in PvP as PvE. I literally had two enemy CWs that ran Tabbed Conduit, Steal Time, Icy Terrain. So much cringe.
because Icy Rays is better. Icy Rays is a HIGHER damage single-target encounter that adds chill and momentarily stuns (well immobile) Not to mention if you want single target damage Disintegrate is god Not to mention if this guy is controller specced, with Opressor.. well Icy Path woulda been nice
Well it sounds like Stormspell is .5 ICD per target per spell, so yeah it wont be as big of a nerf as people think (if thats true, havent tested). If it is as bad as people think then its a preeeettyyy big damage loss, with no good CC buffs. I wouldnt mind doing very little if like ive said our CC actually worked well in…
Well its a % chance to proc so in short term testing yes you may see it proc more. As for it not being a big deal, we will see. Some small tests have already been done and it sounds like the .5 ICD is PER SPELL and PER TARGET so if both of those are true- yes it is a smaller nerf (but still a nerf due to it not critting)…
Yep, Tenacity even on blues mean you dont get oneshot and can actually do SOME things in PvP. Then depending on your class you want to focus defenses/penetration
Wait so CWs had the FIRST and SECOND most overpowered skills in the game... and yet were middle of the road in PvP? Meanwhile there are things like Piercing Damage, Unkillable OP/DC/GFs, Massive damage on GFs (while being tanky), Permasteath Rogues, Permadaze HRs... Yet stormspell and Shield are the TWO MOST OVERPOWERED…
I wouldnt mind the damage nerf if our CC was any good in PvP. Yet tenacity, CC reflect and all that fun stuff mean that our CC barely sticks yet HR can permadaze. Now our damage took a (it seems like) big hit. Well we will see how it affects stuff.
Its not CW players fault they overnerfed hunter and are now doing the same to CW. Just because one class got effed dosent mean another should with the heavyhanded attempts at 'balance'.
Do you think your basic Thama Spellstorm will still be the god to build, or do you think MoF might have some light shown to it? Im just curious on how much it will affect us (Lets be honest, a super nice part of SS was when you had multiple spells ticking off and criting, so the .5 ICD might be a big deal).
The boosts dont offer any power whatsoever actually. All the power you get, is from your skill. When i played a match, it wasnt about who had boosts it was pure skill [I was ranked 2000+ as well, though i dont play anymore]
This sums it up, and was exactly what i was thinking. The problem isnt "Departments" its Management. Like its been said, they completely understaffed the core programmers and overstaffed on artists and fluff makers. Then again this IS PWI. Fanboys will fanboy, but the history speaks for itself.
You do realise that at this point in the game, their focus should be on BUGS not more content to make money. but this is PWI we are talking about, so money money money money is all they care about
Exactly. Most Paladins ive played with in PnP D&D have used their healing abilities on themselves to 'tank' longer. Keep in mind that there is no such thing as a real tank in PnP because there isnt aggro. There is a person behind that monster that just might decide not to beat on the Paladin but blast that squishy Wizard…
No obviously not, because they totally only want the money they can get right away now and eff the rest. Seriously though, i hate the whole mentality of 'if you havent bought it, your not a customer'. Companies dont think like that, YOU think like that. Want to know how most companies think? How can we get those people…
