Did everyone stop being upset about this? If we want PWE to listen we need to make more noise. Let them know we won't stand for decisions that put greed over customer service.
For me it absolutely effected my play on my HR AND my CW. So much so that I am not enjoying them. My solution is to make a SW and if they don't decide to go with customer service before greed by the time I want to go back to my HR or CW, I'll reroll them. I'll speak with my wallet.
That isn't how the suits see it. The execs see it as giving out a free fiver per character effected. Even though no powers were "modified" (this depends on your defenition of modified) the changes that were made even just to the feats create drastic sweeping changes across the way the character will be played, especially…
Affected characters seem to have been given a feat respec, but with such broad changes to class functionality I would assume they intended to give us a respec of powers and abilities as well.
You know what would have been even MORE hilarious? If they had raised the price of respec tokens. I mean, this Shanghai is already obvious enough, they might has well have gone the extra mile.
Here's the thing, it's not about whether or not they nerfed anything. It's about the fact that they claim to have made these changes SPECIFICALLY to make other powers stand out more, but then they want you to pay them to gain access to those powers because the executives defecate in their pants over the idea of "giving…
Two maps? You mean one map with two different skins right? I mean, it's the same map for the most part, isn't it? Flag at each end, flag in the middle, path going over the middle. I say get rid of the healing pots entirely, or at the very least make them a one time heal for a percentage of your max health, not a super…
I have NO idea why I am saying this but.... Even if you CAN'T knock the cleric out and CC him, the blue astral shield is a DP skill. Smoke Bomb his circle and he has to leave to get enough DP to cast it again when it comes down.
I was up against a guy that managed to drop it RIGHT in the middle of mine EVERY time, meaning I had to leave it to get DP back to cast it again. I think there's several aspects of the way AS (The DP version) and Hallowed Ground work together that non-clerics miss. I'm not going to be the one to point them out. When they…
Here's the thing. Compensation isn't necessary. The ToS clearly states that you agree to play on the developers terms, with or without downtime and rollbacks. A little gift when things go wrong is nice, but nowhere near a necessary compensation. If you think it's not enough you should get nothing.
Capital letters aren't restricted to english. Just use a capital and a period once in a while, even if they aren't in the right place, it makes it readable. It's the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse, and helping your uncle jack off a horse.
One thing that's worse than an exploiter is an exploiter that tries to excuse his/her behavior by blaming the devs. People like you should be blacklisted from all video games ever made because you'll just ruin the next one as well. People like you should also be banned from all forms of written language until you repeat…
If you have the time to put into those characters, you also more than likely have the time to learn how to use capital letters. Please remember that capitals are the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse and helping your uncle jack off a horse.
Chill Strike is a stun, it does not remove your chill stacks. What would be great is if "Immune to CC" made them immune to the control aspects of the chill stacks, but still allowed them to be there. It's hard to swallow when I am fighting something that I not only cannot control, but also suffer a massive damage nerf.
It does a small DoT to creatures in it's area and adds Chill stacks over time, it can also freeze when the stacks hit 6. It's amazing for helping out the cleric with adds, or managing large groups of trash. The Chill stack addition has amazing synergy with the Encounter Power that does the AOE dot around the target and…
So to make EU and the US happy (at least the ones that live a "normal" schedule), you think they should bring people in overnight (US) to do these patches at say 8am GMT and just make all of AUS mad instead?
You're joking, right? First of all, we aren't in EST right now, we're in EDT. Second, if you really don't know the time zones of your own country that's a problem.
I think all times for games should be posted in GMT. I mean, you SHOULD know what your time is relative to GMT. Everyone should. Right? Please tell me people are at least smart enough to know that....
