Well, you guys want to complain about it taking forever to earn the ad, well, if we make it in game currency that takes forever, then it's no longer pay to win. There is a guy in my guild with like 40g, so I wanted a high number to be slightly unreasonable.
I'd be alright with them removing the zen price in exchange for 100g instead. That way you still need to take the time to earn it and you can't "pay to win" it.
Zen prices are a little high money-wise but AD-wise, they're fine. You can get respecs with AD ... convert AD to zen. So basically to fix it, they'd need to have like 2 different costs for cash shop items. If you set a price with AD, cash shop items on the AH will stay pretty close to what they go for on the cash shop.…
If there isn't a wipe and/or they refund spent zen, you have nothing to cry about. I'll just assume from the amount of tears you have that this is aimed directly at the cash shop? It clearly stated open beta before you even laid your hands on it, if it is buggy, it is beta. If you don't like that, don't play.
Everyone pretty much nailed it. You can use the gateway and craft, sell that stuff, and make a lot of AD. I just took about 10k AD of mats and turned it into 120k. Rare recipes are worth it and if you don't like the gear crafting, you can always go for leadership. Also, the quality of the items can be increased for rares…
There are reasons why elves are not a class and why thac0 doesn't exist any more. They aren't intuitive. It doesn't make sense for an elf to not be able to specialize. And THAC0, no matter how you cut it, was confusing to pretty much any new comer. As a side note, this is based on 4E and while I'm not familiar with it,…
I wouldn't mind hiding the shirt because the chest armor covers everything that needs to be covered, at least for cleric and guardian. Pants though, leg armor doesn't seem to cover that so should always be visable imo.
This is why we can't have nice things. The foundry wasn't implemented so that people could power level. It was so that we could create content and share stories and experiences with the community. I'm actually happy that those maps were removed/nerfed. It means you'll see more people in queues and doing other stuff. The…
If you trade your AD now, you're going to get a bad deal. AD to Zen is going down which means you can get more zen if you wait a while. After a week, it went from 500 to 400.
Try the wiki and while it is possible to be strict to D&D rules, that has generally been done in a single-player/LAN setting? MMOs are quite different. Converting analog games to digital isn't a super smooth process, some mechanics that work for analog won't work for digital and vice versa.
First, you can use the enter key to make a new paragraph. Second, AC isn't hit/miss. Someone in full plate isn't dodging anything. It doesn't penetrate the armor. Third, this is a video game, the rules have to change to accommodate that.
I liked the part where all the PWE users know more than HotNs about founders packs. Everything minus the respec/AD is given to every created character. Worthless? Not really unless you have a lot of time to farm up epic mounts for each of your characters ... well I guess with only 2 slots, it wouldn't take THAT long but I…
1000 zen is $10 usd. You're also forgetting that the price of zen/ad will go down so you'll be able to get more zen with less. It's just expensive at the moment because all the founders have millions of AD and want zen. Thats why you see 450-500ad per zen.
Play with people you know, problem resolved. Pay to win means you MUST pay money to stay competitive. Not the case here. If you want to think it's something else, call it something else instead of looking funny when you misuse it.
You'll get a mount, pet, and starting weapon for every single character you'll make. So I think it's worth it and you also get a respec and character slot.
Umm ... you'll get drow in about 60ish days or so. To top it off, the stat bonuses are the same, I haven't looked at the specific racials but they're probably equivalent. We took the risk of investing 200 into a game that we've never played. That's more than 3 times the amount of a guardian. So do we deserve some special…
Make sure you play in full screen, not full screen windowed. Even on my 680, I can dip pretty low while full screen windowed in heavy pop areas. I also run 2 other monitors though.
I'd be willing to say it's your cpu also but if someone with a better cpu and the same card is having issues then, I dunno. Still upgrading your cpu wouldn't be a bad idea with a 660. New intel cpus are coming in june btw.
Or maybe, I don't have unrealistic expectations. Can you play the game without spending any money? Will you be at a disadvantage if time isn't considered? You could say that LoL is the same because they allow players to buy champions with money instead of earned through playing. But it's still fair and balanced. You pay in…
