  • 1. I never PvP. 2. A- PvP is just frustrating to me. I do not have the time to figure out all classes and their strengths and weaknesses. Been an MMO player since EQ and have never enjoyed any form of pvp. 3. The Foundry has some great content. However it is not worth doing loot wise. The last chest never has anything of…
  • What would be amazing is if Cryptic did a little ninja hot fix and made the function for "Kick Player" the same as the function for "Leave Group".
  • 1. Fix loot rolls and the ability to kick people thus preventing them form rolling. 2. More armor/weapon variety. Not just adding a belt or shoulder decoration every 5 levels. 3. Alternate starting paths. When I make an alt I would like to be able to play new content rather than redo the same quests. 4. Give companions…
  • Perhaps they can add a preview option for all Zen items. I know other store based games have this option. In The Secret World and DDO all the gear you select is equipped on your character for preview. Another option I would like to see is giving your companions equipment slots rather than static art.
  • He bought the companion that few people have so it is likely that he never saw it till his first summoning of the companion.
  • Yep, I was on that same hype train. Man I was so excited. I thought it would be the greatest thing since SWG Pre-CU. My wife got me the CE for Christmas but I had to wait till I got back from AFG to play. By the time I got home in March the game was already on the path to doom. It is unfortunate that they missed the mark…
  • I like the way the hotkeys are. I played another new MMO recently and it seemed like every level I was getting a new skill. When you have so many it's hard to keep track of all of them. This other MMO has combat very similar to NW and trying to use Q,E,R,V and 1-0 while also using W to move got real clunky. I also like…
  • Exactly. The world is your playground in PnP. I guess everyone else just rolled Lawful-Good and did what ever the DM told them to do. I had one L-G character, a human paladin and he was boring as hell to play. Rest were Chaotic-Neutral and I played them as such. They stole from other party members, if I got caught I would…
  • I disagree. It can be a great addition to a campaign. For instance the Half-orc I mentioned earlier was introduced to the other players through PvP. He was an encounter on a campaign. Once the party was able to defeat him he joined them. Had they not been able to, which is unlikely but then again the dice can be squirrely…
  • A good DM is open minded to all things that players choose to do. that was the point of PnP, freedom to role play. There is nothing more annoying than a DM that has his/her campaign already planned out in their head and doesn't want to deviate from that thought out path at all or gets pissed when a player wants to have a…
  • I did this every time I played PnP. Nothing like a surprise donkey punch as your setting up camp or in a bar. PnP was boring to me, so I always spiced it up by F'n up the DM's plans. Inevitably the campaign would start in a tavern, some stranger approaches yadda yadda. My half-orc would get "startled" and take a swing with…
  • The point of PvP is not make one character a God. All PvP is based around the age old Rock vs Paper vs Scissors. What is the point of it all being Rogue vs Rogue? The time tested system went something like: Rogue beats warrior due to faster speed and evasion/stealth and warrior being a single target fighter Wizards beats…
  • At least in Dragons Dogma they spit out some useful information from time to time. Or bring you a useless rock that someone decided to tip you for the use of your pawn.
  • I haven't touched my initial 600k for Guardian. What are you basing this off of? Things not selling on the AH or P2P? The AD doesn't just vanish so I don't follow how it is running out. Even if one person holds 70% of the AD on a server, it is still there.
  • Now that is some rock solid evidence. Lets see..3 games aren't released to the public yet, a few I have never heard of so I do not know if they are or not. Guild Wars is a good game but no way it is puling in more players than WoW. WoW lost 13% of it's client base since Kung Fu Panda launched and it is still breaking 8…
  • That's how I remember it working. It downscaled the high player, not upscaling the low people. I guess it is possible that I am wrong. But that would be a concept to put in maybe. Veteran adventurers showing young bucks the ropes.
  • Yes, those were better days. None of this que for dungeon, run dungeon, que, run same dungeon, repeat. Companies might as well forgo the open world content and just design 20 dungeons per level bracket and a town to hang out in. It is all about the speed and bragging these days.
  • Have you thought about playing less? Just because it's there doesn't mean you absolutely have to log in and grind to 60. Here's a few suggestions: -Go camping -Go fishing -Go on a date -Go hang out at a friends house -Have a friend hang out at your house -Go to the gym -Progress your knowledge in a meaningful subject…
  • Or they could implement the mentor system. I think it was CoH that had that, maybe? Anyhow it's been a long time but I know there was a game that allowed you to join a group of lower lvl players and it would de-lvl your character and give the rest of the group a small buff. I know GW2 sort of does it now by de-leveling you…
  • I agree with your post. I have played since Guardian launch and I have been trying to take it slow. I don't see the point in getting to 60 as fast as possible when the 60 content isn't even finished. I would rather wait to level when more gear has been implemented into the game as well. I stopped running dungeons and…
  • You are rewarded for group play. Maybe not in this game yet. Dungeons and raids require groups and yield better rewards. This game will eventually implement larger dungeons that require communication and are more than just simply running a 3 CW, 2 TR group. Yes you can solo, but in the end you will end up with all uncommon…
  • Oh attacking grammar. One small mistake in all those words. Good find. Hope it made you all warm and fuzzy inside. So you are out of logical things to say. I realize what you meant by class, learn to recognize sarcasm. I played the game. It was a terrible waste of time. Go out, kill bees and turtle men. Yep, that was about…
  • Simple. People only care about blazing through a dungeon to get the shiny box at the end. No one cares about other people or how it effects their gaming experience when they boot you simply because you chose GWF. Anonymity breeds A-holes.
  • That is all some people can play in a single session. People have families and other obligations. A common question in the cancelation polls for MMOs is "Do you feel you were able to obtain a since of accomplishment in short play sessions" Not everyone has time to sit around and wait for the optimal group. These people…
  • I play MMOs for the vast amounts of things to do, The open world, the mass amounts of various types of gear, the frequent updates, the classes and races, to play with my buddies that are currently in different parts of the world, and the list could go on. I do not play to fulfill any need for social interaction, to feel…
  • Which is your opinion and perfectly acceptable. I look for the opposite in an MMO. I look for the ability to play solo or with one other person. I do not like being forced to group in order to progress. That is why I thought FFXI was not much fun. I am looking forward to Ff:RR however. People that pay for a game should not…
  • With a few friends would be my first guess.
  • In PnP I didn't have a computer screen that brought my adventure to life visually. Can we take that away? So bothersome to see all these character models and animations.
  • That was my first thought. Mostly the same title and same context.
