  • What ET# are you getting when it crashes?
  • Are you a dragonborn? Many head pieces don't have a visual model when worn by dragonborn.
  • Check your graphics settings. I'd suggest resetting them to default to see if that fixes it, then tweak them to be closer to how you like them.
  • Does anything that looks like "Juggle" appear in the Emotes menu (if you focus chat, press Triangle to show the menu, select "Emotes")?
  • While I agree that it'd be sweet to have the console UI on PC (I was heavily involved in the console UI design, and I find it superior in many respects) it isn't quite as easy as we'd all like. I was part of the team that did the ports of NW and STO to both consoles, so I'm speaking with that experience when I give these…
  • The trouble with your #3 solution is that it encourages people to NOT progress the party, and instead hang back picking up loot. If we did that change, someone else would be in the forums complaining that people stop fighting and run around picking up the green trash. But consider your statement "the most valuable stuff…
  • > @murattti said: > @miasmat hi Why is the 64 bit client still going to sound and I am playing with the worse sound than many questions. I play games with 32 bit installed system. If you're playing on a 32-bit system, it'll run the 32-bit version of each app. I know people are looking into the sound troubles people have…
  • crypticErorX64.exe is the crash handler. When your client crashes, it launcher crypticErrorX64.exe. When we patch the various .exe files, we rename them "*.deleteme" briefly. If something crashes during patching, it'll use the crypticErrorX64.exe.deleteme to handle those. You're welcome to kill any CrypticError* processes…
  • At the moment, we THINK the only way to break this quest chain is to drop a quest on one character. If you are broken AND HAVE NOT DROPPED ANY ANNIVERSARY MISSIONS MANUALLY, please add some more details here so we can figure out what's up with your situation. Thanks!
  • Next time it happens, please send me the ET # (at the bottom of the CrypticError window where you can fill in details of what was happening). That'll let us look up your specific case quickly to see what happened.

I get it - "french class"! Hahahaha... One of a few VHS my family had growing up in a house without TV.
  • It totally happens on the console builds right now. The quickest workaround (until a new build goes out) is to buy any new mount and it'll auto-equip and free the blocked slot. Once all 5 slots are filled again, save that to all loadouts. I think you'll get in this broken state if you saved a 2nd loadout while you're still…

  • The fix was reverted by mistake. We're setting it back to 30 days now. Try again in a couple hours.
  • We have a fix for this going out "soon". (I think it's in module 14)
  • Thanks for calling out Zarifrax's Coffer. It's (strangely) written to only go into the first Inventory bag. I'll pass this along to the right people.
  • There are some Xbox rules that lead us to hiding the offline time for Xbox specifically. I didn't test this feature on Xbox hardware and assumed it'd work the same as PS4. We're working with Microsoft to see if we can let you see the offline time for people in your guild. Sorry about the tease!

  • Please update your video drivers from the manufacturer's site. We updated the video driver detection in the Preview build and we were seeing problems with the Windows 10 installed drivers from Microsoft.
  • We probably just never enabled it on preview. There's a switch to flip per shard to control many queues. We're not removing Tiamat. She'll still be there terrorizing the Well of Dragons and eating noobs.
  • Well darn it! I'll have a look at what I did wrong.
  • There's a strong chance that your computer fell into a set of specs we were incorrectly detecting, and overly aggressively down-rezzing textures that we didn't need to. So you'd see poor texture quality. That detection should be fixed for this weekend's build, so please give it another test. Thanks!
  • Try clicking "Reset to Defaults" on the Graphics tab of Options to see if that resolves the blurry textures. I'm wondering if some hidden graphics option is still affecting your client. Actually, before you do that, save your "GamePrefs.pref" as a separate file somewhere and send them both to me. Mine is in "C:\Program…
  • Your particular crash is a quest path crash because you have a ton of mission in your journal. We have a fix for this already going out in the next build.
  • Really truly, go to nvidia's site and look for latest drivers. Windows 10 has been doing this cool thing where it replaces your new drivers with old buggy drivers cuz it thinks they're better. Also, we'll have a build this weekend that detects video cards better, so that might be it too.
  • Yeah, It'll be fixed with the next build. We changed how font rendering works a bit, and screwed up the accented, Cyrillic and Chinese glyphs. Oops!
  • If you're getting a crash, please include the ET# (at the bottom of the CrypticError window where you type comments about what was happening when it crashed). I'll look into your specific case from there.
  • The most useful info to send us is the ET # that appears in the CrypticError reporting window that appears (where it says you can add some details about what was happening). This will help us distinguish your particular crash from any others that are happening, and give you specific feedback of "oh, this is what happened…
  • "killed the Tyrant" should be read as "has the Chult Lore entry about The Tyrant" ("The Lost City of Omu: The Tyrant"). So between now and when the fix goes live (probably next week), get in on a Tyrant kill and you'll get a Bile Drenched Scale.
