  • This is awesome work! I was working on making up a set of Sigil streets for my first Foundry story (a work in progress) and came searching for anyone else who'd tackled it. You have most certainly tackled it full on; and now I'm a bit intimidated. So...thanks...I guess.
  • Thank you for the list. To be honest, I was building a slum market in an ancient city supposedly built over the remains of cities past (building on buildings; so many doors). Burying some bits of architecture was part of the plan to begin with. I was just hoping there was an option to save time on some spots, and for…
  • I'll take a floating and particularly chatty skull, if one's available. I can wait...
  • So, update. I've been giving the items dialogue options, but giving all the text the Mission Information tag. The items sparkle (which I wanted) but despite being now 'talking' NPCs they don't get the diamond over them; which I didn't want anyways. So, that seems to work great. Thanks again for the assist.
  • Ah. Thank you. I'll try both of these and see which one I like.
  • I considered going up and editing my earlier post, but then the after comments would make little sense. I'll live with my error, and ask that everyone reads that as ROGUE MODRONS. Thank you.
  • Nyah, you. I totally missed that I did that...
  • Theoretically, rouge Modron's would survive the loss of Primus; as they were already free of Primus' control due to 'flaws'. Without the Pentadrones hunting them down, rouge Modrons would possibly even have an easier time of things. And if (big IF) they were to be made into companions, they'd most certainly be rouge…
  • Well, I got nothing then.
  • This is all true of course, but it doesn't mean you're stuck with it. After all, if your Tiefling is a 'proper' Tiefling of Toril or not is really an RP note only. You can be part of a family of Demon blood Tieflings that somehow avoided Asmodeus' sire-ing (which is a heck of a story on it's own) or maybe not even from…
  • Sigh. I know. I originally had it coming from the other side of the pic, which looked better tail wise, as it followed the curve of the spine and looked more natural. But I switched it because it made her look off balance. But yeah, something about it was driving me mad, and now that you've said it, I can't un-see it. I'll…
  • Yeah, I wrote that one sentence badly, but you're stuck? You can just skip over it and read that rest of the post since I quickly move away from that point. It might actually be you reading comprehension, you know, if a sentence stops you like that.
  • This is a pretty broad statement, though not necessarily untrue. Many of the first MMOs have an equal part PvP and PvE because they were modeled after WoW. They've survived for a good long time because they showed up when MMOs were still young and they got a good fan base. It's not the mix that made them survive, it's the…
  • That is a freaking awesome question. I PvE to hang with friends. In many ways, I sorta suck at most MMOs, 'cause I don't really care about stats and stuff; what since my characters only have to be good enough to kick the crud out of the AI. But yeah, it's mostly just to raid with and hang out with other players. The…
  • No you're not. You care about story, and you care about loot. Since I am the one you're quoting, lets cover what the 'average' PvPer is. Your average PvPer is the guy who wants nothing more than an edge on other players, because he is in the game to win against other players. When I say that your average PvP player will…
  • This here is entirely why I consider PvP to be a game killer. your average PvPer doesn't really care about the story, or the events that happen in an MMO beyond how much xp and items come with it. If you gave them a spot to stand where monsters would come to them and drop fat loot, well, they'd stand there. And when…
  • @Lobo0084 I see what you're saying, and don't disagree per se. But I think I see it a bit different. First off, the scripting, NPCs, all of that? Yeah, if your story is being carried by them alone you need some work. You being Devs, obviously. I've actually been surprised at how many NPCs talk to me with actual vocal words…
  • I'm actually often proud of Cryptic for continuing to make most of their games more PVE then PVP. I'm a Champions player, over here because I want to see what's up. I'm also an old pen and paper D&D player, and well, I have to give my loyalty sooner or later right? PvP is honestly a game killer. And no, this is not a shot…
