  • Not OP first, they are a more recent issue. If the devs take time on the Pala it will be even longer for the SW to be fixed - and we have waited significantly too long as it is. If they fix in order of what's the most recent then older issues will never get looked at. A lot of SW players have either switched - or simply…
  • All you are doing with these posts is ensuring the SW stays as a sub-par class, which it has been since Mod 6 What is wrong with actually recognizing that the class has several broken feats Was nerfed badly with M6 Is parked by many people after that Mod Mostly any other class is preferred over it in groups And is a…
  • Well I'm not sure where you want to carry on to. It's obvious that a group without this class build and using the standard OP/DC will be far better off. Or just more OP's in the group and it would walk all over what this small bit's of everything build would do. Sure you can say my healing helped in a group, but that's not…
  • It's not Honesty, to me it's confusion. If Temptation isn't in such a bad state, how come people tried it after Mod 6, then instantly used their free respec to ditch the tree as soon as possible? Since then players have been trying to get something out of the SW class, muddled by the Puppet lottery damage. But not with the…
  • This comes across as simply trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, and it's dangerous to the class. Someone who doesn't play the class (as in some devs), may see the title and assume that the Temp tree is in fact not bad - and there goes our chance to gets this busted flush fixed. OP - do SW players a favour and…
  • Well it didn't take Cryptic long to break some class mechanics in the first place. It's not as though some of these issues where a surprise. Every player with a Temptation SW could see problems with the Mod 6 changes - and we told you prior to introduction. Let's say that again - we told you not to implement the Mod 6…
  • Hi "only solution is to play a class that is in a better shape, like CW atm I run fury, I can´t see the class underperforming compared to others in PVE , maxed GWF with bondings rank 12 will allways triple my damage, or more, running edemo" Sadly, this appears to be the way of things. The problem then being that if players…
  • I honestly have no idea what you are saying here. - Is it that you think the Temptation feat tree is ok now? - Or that there aren't useless feats that no one uses and may as well not be there? - Or that you don't like rock concerts.
  • Scourge Warlock is not ok, whatever happens to the other classes. Some feats are not worth even having on the screen, may as well delete them from the feat trees and save screen pixels - but more than that, an entire Feat Tree was ruined in Mod 6, despite the devs saying it would be treated as a special case. A feat tree…
  • Not sure - these movements appear to be too quick for the SW :)
  • Well, as candinho2 has already pointed out you're starting from a bad place. If you don't want to end up pulling all the keys off your keyboard, kicking the cat (or dog, or goldfish), and trying to punch your monitor into the house next door, then play another class. Go for OP - never was a class abbreviation more apt. SW…
  • Spot on. Do you (or anyone else) remember the game years ago? I mained a DC at the time, throw one heal in a dungeon and every mob in there slowly turned it's head (or heads) to you, then attacked!!!! Then it was the Benny Hill chase scene as you kited the whole lot round in circles while other group members tried to knock…
  • That would require actual in depth resource - something which just doesn't appear to be there. People may see my posts as constantly negative, and probably not too far off with that, but it's simply borne out of sheer frustration of how the game could be. Neverwinter has great combat mechanics - mechanics that leave a lot…
  • Sadly I agree, and it is pretty depressing to acknowledge that little will improve - probably get worse in fact - until the game Company finds the will to invest in employees. Personally it would be the best news for a long time if Cryptic announced a renewed focus on the game with an increase in experienced developers. As…
  • If you haven't figured by now, these 'need more detail' requests are purely a knock back delay tactic. They simply haven't got the resources to fix the ever increasing list of needed actions - so it's go away and come back later. You could give them 20 pages of information, inside leg measurements, the whole lot, and it…
  • If they didn't learn from Mod 6, then I doubt they'll suddenly improve with a 'dream expansion' of Mod 9 (or 10 or 11.....). Every expansion sees the remaining player base hoping that "this will be the one" - The one that doesn't introduce more bugs - The one that isn't re-skinned old areas - The one that fixes glaring…
  • Well my post expanded a bit, and thanks to all who replied. Was hoping some work had been done to the Temptation spec, and I do seem to recall words from Strum (?) saying this would be looked at with Underdark. Sadly, it's no real surprise to see the Temp spec still waiting for this bit of love.
  • Strums on level 5? Already? Ah, suppose it's ok for these no-lifers, 24-7 leveling. But it begs the question..........did he have a leveling partner for this? Ok, looks like he may be focusing on different things at the moment. Watching brief only then, hopefully something will be done to the Temp before the sun eventually…
  • ah, was playing Temp upto Mod 6, had to switch spec after that and carried on for a while. Heart wasn't really in it as I liked the Temp. Probably best to leave it a bit longer then, as I got frustrated with what they did to the Temp. Thanks for the replies guys.
  • I.......I.....I'll be ok..............just need some time alone................... Seriously - "figuring out what it means to fully review a class" - pass me the BS deflectors.
  • Yes, you missed - complete revamp of SW. All useless feats reworked, bugs fixed, specific LS changes for Temp tree. animation times reduced, soul puppet health significantly increased, and free respec. ....(actually this may not have happened just yet).
  • Not much may be up on the preview server, but patch notes have been issued. There is a paragraph covering 'Classes and Balance' - well paragraph may be pushing it as it's just one line under the title. Classes and Balance Trickster Rogue: Mocking Gesture: This feat now only works when you take the feat. So: Can we expect…
  • Ah, raiding Naxx & Ulduar, good memories in a good guild.
  • Patient as in something will be there and we're just waiting for it to be announced?
  • This is a perfect example of what goes wrong in the game. A bug was identified to Cryptic. A fix was implemented a while later. - Yet they still went ahead and introduced the same bug to another set of players. So now these players have to live with being one shotted until it is eventually fixed - again.
  • Excellent, made me laugh :-)
  • But the Original Poster is wrong, and has jumped onto the bandwagon that Cryptic want. It WAS legit for people to raise leadership on multiple characters. Cryptic made money from this by selling character slots. You could say they actively promoted multiple characters as part of their money making. Nothing these players…
  • Hey you've replied - so thank you for this. Can I just plead with the development team to put any changes on preview, give us time to try these - and please listen to the consensus feedback from the preview. Let's do it right :-)
